4 star hotel at a fantastic price! ”
To get to the hotel, you will require to take a tram after arriving at Hiroshima Station. This may sound like a bit of an effort but it is definitely all worth it for this hotel! At arrival, we were greeted with friendly staff who spoke fluent English and thus, made communication at ease for any questions we had such as hiring bikes which they also provide at the hotel and thus, made it convenient to bike ride to the tourist attractions around Hiroshima and get back to the hotel afterwards without any other form of transport. It was also quite cheap to rent! The room was very clean at first glance when walking in with plenty of floor space. The bed was comfortable and decent in size for two adults. The hotel had your basic necessities. The top key highlights of this hotel were the breakfast buffet which had quite a few choices but the Japanese curry was the stand out and also, the unlimited drinks (soft drinks, coffee and tea) at any time of the day or night which they provided which was fantastic and most importantly, the washing machine and dryer which was free! I would highly recommend Urbain Hiroshima Central if you are looking for a 4 star hotel and service at a fantastic price!

Convenient hotel at a reasonable price.”
Note for travelers booking this hotel: There are 2 Urbain Hiroshima Hotels in the city, on opposite sides. So if you use google maps to find it you may well end up at the wrong one, as we did! Other than that, this hotel is a very good choice for accessing the major destinations in Hiroshima. Access to the street car or subway is roughly 5 min on foot. The A bomb dome and memorial peace park can be reached on foot in 20 min or faster by street car. Hiroshima castle is 15 min by foot. There are convenience stores and restaurants and shopping right outside the hotel. Overall nothing special about this hotel just a good solid place to stay for a few days and explore Hiroshima.

Great location and clean rooms”
Location of Urbain Hiroshima Central was perfect. We could hop onto the sightseeing bus just mins away from our hotel. Breakfast was simple but fulfilling. Free drinks all day long too (to be consumed at the lobby, understandably)!

Hiroshima urbain central is a gem - very clean, affordable, decent breakfast and helpful staff. Also, awesome location. Would definitely stay here again, was sad to leave.

Good base for trip to Miyajima”
We stopped in the hotel for two nights to use it as a starting point for one day trip to Miyajima. Indeed the hotel is accessible from Hiroshima Train Station both by tram and by foot (10-15 minutes: from the exit go straight through the bridge, then turn right and in a four quarters left).As a matter of fact we have spent just the same time to go by foot to the tram station, wait for tram and then to the Train Station by tram. The only disadvantage of the Hotel is that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Though there is Wi-Fi in the lobby.

Decent Hotel”
Stayed there 4/3 to 4/6. There was construction work going on right next to the hotel and I got a room facing it. Fortunately, I was out of the hotel before the work crew began their shift at 8 a.m. Free buffet breakfast in the lobby was bare bones basic but decent. Staff was unerringly friendly and efficient. Room was small (even by Japanese business hotel standards) but clean and well thought out; however, the buttons on the remote for the a/c were in Japanese, which might be a problem for non-Japanese guests. There is a mini-supermarket ("Pro Mart", I believe) one block north, very convenient! Hotel is located on a spur line of the Hiroden streetcar network; you're better off just walking a few blocks south to the nearest station (Hatchobori) on the main line than waiting to take the infrequent train on the spur line. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I liked it. Will not hesitate to stay again if my future travels take me to Hiroshima again.

Hotel is clean, breakfast is yummy. 24 hours drink in the lobby is very sweet ;) room is very clean. Price is not expensive at all. Also very close to restaurant and malls. Strong recommend ppl who would travel Hiroshima :)

Bicycle rental”
room was extremely small but normal I guess for Japanese standard. bathroom was good and clean. bicycle hire very useful - you can easily see the museum and other sites in one day. bit annoying that we had to take the tram to get to the hotel each time to and from hiroshima station though. breakfast was decent. staff were good. I think check in time iis too late though.

Modern and Convenient”
This was a great hotel for spending a night in Hiroshima. It is conveniently located near the public transportation railcar, shopping areas and memorial park. The staff spoke great English and were very accommodating. They even watched our luggage after checkout when we wanted to explore the city a bit longer. The free breakfast isn't amazing but it's simple and offers Western options if you are not fond of Japanese food.

Very friendly staff and convenient facilities”
A great little place to stay, although a few tram stops and a bit of a walk from the main JR station, its only a 10 min cab ride if you prefer and close to the tram lines to the main Hiroshima sites. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the window blocks out the street noise and you can get a good sleep. Convenience plus here, help yourself to free soft drink/tea/coffee/miso soup any hour of the day, free laundry facilities, free breakfast starting 5am if you want to get going early and very cheap bike hire if you dont fancy walking Hiroshima, also close to many convenience stores and eateries. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, free laundry (washer and dryer, just need to pay 50 yen for powder), close to city centre. If you have JR pass, walk 5-10 mins to red tourist bus stop for free travel around popular destinations. If travelling to Miyajima, same bus stops at Hiroshima station so entire trip and back including train and ferry is covered by JR pass.

Great convenient location”
We are a senior Australian couple and found the hotel spotless and comfortable. We had a "double room" adequate space,modern bathroom with all ones needs. electirc kettle and fridge, goon LAN connection for laptop. Laundry facility with dryer free of charge which was great. Real Coffee machine, tea and soft drink dispenser in breakfast space, free any time of day and night. Staff friendly and helpful. High security, quiet area. Penty of resaturant, family Marts and Shopping Malls close by. Very close to Peace Memorial Park & Museum. Fifteen minute walk to station. Very tricky to find hotel on foot the first day but once we got the hang of it, very easy. Highly recommenended !! station but a little tricky th find the hotel on foot the first time.

Good value& very clean but small rooms”
We were there for a day to see the peace memorial museum and local sights, we walked to the hotel from the bus station and walked to the Peace Memorial Park during the day and to the train station the next day, but only had a light bag to carry . Price includes breakfast, free laundry and free drinks all day. Rooms are small so don't plan to hang out there. I would go back.

Great budget accommodation close to Peace Memorial Park with free breakfast. Hotel is very clean and the staff is really helpful. Room is quite small but no different to other budget hotels in Japan. I would definitely recommend this place for a short stay.
