It is located in the basement of the building next to Mitsukoshi, across from Taipei Station. It is also connected to the underground shopping street, which is convenient on rainy days, but the Taipei underground streets can be a maze, so it may be confusing if you are not familiar with it. At first, you might want to go from above, pass through the underground street from the hotel, and then take the MRT to get a better sense of direction. As for the hotel itself, the basic room type is a single room with a shared bathroom, and within that, there are compact types and regular types. Compact: Only has a bed, a TV, and a luggage rack! I thought it would be fine since I only had a backpack, but since everything had to go on the floor, it turned out to be quite a hassle to place drinks, cosmetics, and toiletries on the floor as well. It may vary by room, but the TV is attached directly to the wall where the bed is, so it's probably not possible to watch it while lying down (well, there aren't any channels worth watching anyway). The power outlet is also on the wall side of the bed. Surprisingly, there is no USB charging port, just a 110v socket. I lost my charging adapter at another hotel where I stayed before this, and only had my cable, which made things unexpectedly difficult. Regular: There is a small desk next to the bed that is slightly lower than the bed, and of course, there is space from the desk to the entrance (the side is for other use), so you can spread out your belongings. The TV is mounted on the wall opposite the desk, parallel to the door, allowing you to watch while in bed. I can’t remember if the power outlet was on the bedside or the desk side. Facilities: They provide one large bath towel. The toilet and shower are separated by gender and can be accessed with a card key. There are three toilets and three showers, which are reasonably clean. The washbasin comes with amenities like cotton swabs, cotton pads, washcloths, makeup remover, and contact lens solution. I think there was only one hairdryer. There was no issue with being too crowded and not being able to enter. There is no changing booth in the shower, so you change inside the shower. Across from the shower, there are a washing machine and dryer (for a fee). The shower has an electronic panel at the top that displays something like the temperature, which is interesting. Both water pressure and temperature were fine. Check-in and checkout: It is completely self-service. There is no one at the front desk, and there is a phone in case you need anything, so it operates on a call-when-needed basis. It is unfortunate that you cannot store your luggage before or after check-in and checkout... Others: There is a refrigerator, a microwave, tea (with paper cups), and coffee (in a portion set like Dolce Gusto to make one cup at a time) near the entrance. There is no kitchen, so cutting fruit or cooking is not allowed. Perhaps because of this, the refrigerator is quite empty, which is helpful.
This hotel/Inn is located at the Basement Level 3 of Asia Plaza Tower, next to Shin Kong Life Tower(building that house it is Right Across Taipei Main Station -M3-M5 exit (on Station Side but you need to cross the road or Z2 exit just in front of Shin Kong Bld. (along Zhongxiao West Road) It is one the best budget Inn I have stayed . *The place is secure; *Toilet and shower are clean,(Japanese Toilet is a big plus) and has alcohol sprayntondisinfect the area. *Has suppynof mouthwash, dental floss, toothbrush and toothpaste. *The showers have shampoo and shower gel and a digital hot/cold water system. There is also a coffee machine (similar to Nespresso) and a hot and cold water dispenser with the option to make your own Oolong tea, or instant 3 in one Blue. Mountain Blend Coffee or Caramel Machiatto. *They also have a washingachine and dryer in the same area, ($60 Taiwanese NT to use - paid separately, they also sell washing gel for $20NT) *The Bed is oft and think, slthensame goes for the quilt cover, one pillow is good enough as it soft plusna small side pillow. The air-conditioning is very good. And the room smells good and they provide you with a temporary rubber slipper. It has a small TV as well. *Downside.. if you are ejitnused to spaces with no windows then this is not for you. You also need to be carefully not to forget your key card asitnis not a manned hotel. Checkn in and check out automated, so some might find this difficult. Plus there is also one big common fridge freezer located next to the coffee machine. *Ladies Toilet/showers are key card secured. *Some rooms are really small (almost capsule like size So make sure to book a bigger room of you want more space. overall HIGHLY recommended and will definitely book again when I visit Taipae next time. *High praise to the all the cleaning staff who are always courteous and helpful
Thank you for liking our hotel. I hope you have a pleasant stay this time and have the opportunity to serve you next time. Thank you
Pros: For 30,000 won per night, having your own private room is a great deal. The room is very clean, the beddings are very clean. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Since this accommodation is underground, I was worried about the noise. But I had a great night’s sleep. I liked that you had to use your key card to get into the bathroom/shower. It felt safe as a female solo traveler. The bathroom also had coin laundry machine and dryer. The location is everything! It’s only 11 mins away from the Taiwan Bus Station, and 7 mins from the Taiwan Station. The check-in is quite easy but when I got stuck I was able to call for assistance. Cons: The room is very small. There’s barely enough space to open my 28 inch luggage. I managed because I only stayed for 1 night but this may not be suitable for a longer stay. Finding this place can be confusing. Overall this place is great if you’re on a budget and you need to a place to stay for a few nights. Great for traveling from or to the airport.
If you read Google reviews, you will find the place easily. It is located in the basement of the Taipei Metro, so it is accessible to everything. It also has a private exit after you own the access card, which links to the mall's lift. The private exit is so important when you want to buy something at midnight or early morning before 8 am. When you want to wash laundry, you will need to prepare twelve Taiwanese $10 coins, $60 for the washer and $60 for the dryer. You can easily change your money to coins at the nearby 7-Eleven/Cosme. There is no room service to clean your room, so I throw my trash into the shared bathroom bin every day. The bathroom has everything you need, and I love their hair dryer and the capsule machine.

“Beautiful and very close to the station.”
I arrived at Taoyuan International Airport on a late-night flight and walked from the Taipei Bus Terminal to my accommodation at 3:00 AM. The direction to follow is towards the elevated area. When I passed by Taipei Station, I saw many homeless people sleeping, so it might be a little scary for a woman alone, but I think as long as you move quietly, there should be no problem. I have been to Taipei several times, so I find the location next to Mitsukoshi very easy to understand. If you're arriving late at night, you can't access the hotel from the underground street, so I wasn't sure where the hotel entrance was. I had previously inquired by email about the elevator, but I couldn't find it, but the security guard at the front entrance guided me, and I was able to reach my destination. I entered from the Taipei Station side entrance, took the left elevator at the farthest end down to level B4, and then transferred to the elevator just a little past that to go back up to level B3. After that point, there are signs to guide you, so there is no problem. The check-in machine can be set to Japanese, so you won't get lost. You'll need to enter your Agoda reservation number. Until 11 PM, it’s very easy to reach the Z2 exit of the underground street. The guest rooms are reminiscent of a Japanese private capsule hotel but a bit larger with beds. Although it seemed like there was no soundproofing, perhaps because the guests who stayed during my two days were all well-mannered, I was able to enjoy a very quiet and comfortable stay. The auto-lock system is card-based, and there are enough security cameras for peace of mind. There were no bath towels in the room, and since the front desk was unmanned, I was hesitant to ask over the internal phone, but a fellow guest kindly informed me that towels were placed in front of room 350. Checkout is done by simply dropping your card into a box that looks like a mailbox. While luggage cannot be stored, there are lockers right in front of the entrance, and there are Japanese instructions available, making it easy to find the location, especially considering I was heading towards the airport MRT. Overall, there are Japanese instructions everywhere. I felt a very sincere impression from the owner, and I was truly impressed, as expected from Taiwan. Imagine a private room capsule hotel, and if you know where the towels are and the nighttime entrance, it’s nearly a perfect budget accommodation. I would like to use it again when I visit Taipei.
