"My experience with Lotte Hotel Hanoi has been nothing short of perfect ever since I made the decision to book a room. Everyone at the hotel seems to go out of their way to make your special occasion even better. As soon as I got to the hotel I was blown away by the view. It's one thing to imagine it but it's another thing altogether to get, what is perhaps, the best view in Hanoi from what might be the most luxurious hotel in Hanoi. The service is absolutely impeccable from everyone in the hotel but I do need to specially point out Ms. Ngan, Mr. Dat Tan Nguyen and every one of the Reservation Sales Agents I talked to for doing an exceptional job. They go out of their way to ensure you have the best time possible."

"Perfectly situated in the Hanoi old quarter. This is a smaller sized hotel with a more personal touch. It has spotless rooms and extremely helpful staff. The rooftop pool is very pleasant especially in the evening. Breakfast is of the best standard. We also received a fruit bowl each day. The only negative I can think of is the rooftop bar prices are a bit pricy. I would certainly stay there again. "

"Probably one of the best if not literally the best Hotel in Hanoi. The staff is absolutely excellent, remembering guests' names, preferences and managing to create a real "empathy" while not being too invasive. The room itself in the "Opera" wing was very comfortable but not outstanding for a 5 star hotel (rooms in the historical wing are much fancier), but the facilities (hotel garden, pool, spa, bar, restaurants, ...) had a genuinely unique and chic atmosphere, food both at breakfast and drinks at the bamboo bar at night were affordable (by international hotel standards) and absolutely delicious. Service was top notch and the staff knew exactly how to make each guest feel special and treat each guest in a courteous and consistent but individualized manner at the same time. You can feel that the hotel is extremely tightly and professionally managed so that this old historical building in the heart of Hanoi remains world-leading class, both in terms of facilities and service"

"I stayed there two days on a business trip and enjoyed it very much. Spacious rooms fully equipped and very kind (Vietnam!) staff. It is a little off the city area, but for that it is very quiet. And Taxi is also not expensive in Hanoi. Their problem might be that there are so many hotels in Hanoi which have ratings far beyond 8 at much cheaper prices. Still if you are the first time in Hanoi and have the money (which is still very reasonable compared to other countries) - or your company has the money - Interconti Hanoi is a safe bet!"

"I stayed here for 4 nights visiting a friend in Hanoi. The room was really really nice, and quite interesting - not too bland. The location is great - right near the central lake and lots of great places to eat/drink. I think this place has a reputation as one of the best hotels in Hanoi. As soon as I told my friend's mum where I was staying the next thing she said was 'have you met Kim's younger sister? She's very beautiful.' Her sister was super beautiful and she had a great sense of humour too but unfortunately I already have a girlfriend back in Australia :( :( :("

The staff ALWAYS went an extra mile to make us feel comfortable.. extremely attentive and caring. Another highlight for us was the room and specially the bed, probably the most comfortable bed I ve slept in. The hotel is brand new , the facilities are great, and the location couldn’t be better. "Located on the shore of the lake, the view from the higher floors are magnificent. Taking a stroll around the lake, you can find restaurants and cafes, although much more sparce and definitely quieter than the bustling streets of the old quarters. The hotel staff are bilingual in several languages, and very professional. Although priced higher than the average hotels in Hanoi, it is reasonable considering you get the best accomodation Hanoi has to offer."

So I booked in Sheraton Hanoi for 2 days and then moved around the countries and when decided to fly back to Hanoi I was searching for another 5 star hotel since Sheraton was fully booked on that day and I found few 5 star hotels like Lotte and sofitel but but I found that Hanoi daewoo hotel is a five star hotel with a very good price and close to the biggest mall in Hanoi so decided to give it a try and to be frank it has exceeded my expectation"
