Great hotel for amazing service and breakfast”
The hotel was amazing for its convenient location and lovely breakfast. I stayed with my friends and the room was big enough for 3 people (for Japan's standard). And the staff was friendly and we were allowed to store our luggage there til late even past our check-out time. Not to mention the great selections of breakfast which included both western and Japanese-styled choices. I'd totally recommend to other travellers

Low key & Classy”
Just as the title says, low key but classy hotel. It's located equidistant between the downtown district of Hondori and the Hiroshima Station area (which contains the inexhaustible Ekie Food Hall) and distances in between, including the beautiful Shukkeien Garden/ Hiroshima Prefectural Museum or the nightlife of the atmospheric Showa era Ekinishi district. The view of the Kyobashi River from our 9th floor room were fantastic. Overall the facility was immaculately clean and our beds were comfy. Last but not least, the hotel buffet breakfast was wonderful and filling with a nice combination of both Japanese and Western items. The wife and I expect to be back again soon.

I’ve stayed at Royal Park Hotels in different cities. They are always consistent - reasonably priced, clean, good locations. In Hiroshima was no different. The buffet breakfast was also worth it.

Great base location for Hiroshima”
Located between the main station and the city best sites, this spot is a great base location if you plan to explore the region on foot. The rooms are comfortable and well sized and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend.

Clean, spacious, and modest price considering the location. Parking was the only down side. There are only 8 spots available . You have to park down the street and it costs roughly $20 a night.

The rooms facing the river offer a great view. Rooms are spacial, for Japanese standard. Walls are sound-proof, which is also rare. Bathroom is great. There is a lovely cafe with outside area facing the river. Breakfast is a buffet style, mostly Japanese breakfast, quite a big choice, not so healthy. But they offer fruits and yogurt as well. Staff is mostly very nice. There was one serious drawback - the attitude to foreigners, something that, unfortunately, has been on the rise recently. On the second day, the cleaning staff had forgotten to leave the two big towels in the bathroom. I called the reception and a guy brought the towels but he wanted to get in and check the bathroom if the towels were really missing, as if I were not telling the truth. I doubt he'd done that if the customers were Japanese. Besides being a highly unpleasant and humiliating experience, it subjected me to risks of being infected. I was not happy to have someone meeting many people entering my room and being so close to me. Also, the heavy front door hit badly my foot and I could not walk properly after that because of the pain. At breakfast when I wanted to sit outside, the staff would let me do it, opening the door to the terrace but they kept closing it behind me showing me I was disturbing the Japanese who were having their breakfast inside. On my last day, two Japanese, a mother and a daughter, sat outside, the door was left wide open and their table was cleaned and a box with tissues were left on it - something that never happened to me. A box with tissues was also left on the other table where another Japanese sat. This difference in treating foreign and Japanese guests, unconscious as it might be, does not speak good of a 4-star hotel.

The Royal Park Hiroshima Riverside was amazing! Quite yet close enough to Hiroshima station and other attractions like Sukkeien park and Hiroshima Castle. The staffs were accommodating and polite. They take their covid precautions seriously which was great. The check in/out was really smooth. Service at the restaurant was also up to standards. The rooms are well appointed at least on my experience, you can the the view of the river and city. It was very relaxing! So, I would highly recommend staying here when in Hiroshima.

I was a bit dissapointed with this hotel. The staff was not really friendly, except for the staff in the dining room. The breakfast was average and the space was really tight. Overall the hotel did not have much to offer and was not close to any bus or train routes. I would not stay here again because it is rather inconvenience. It had no amenities to offer that would make it worthwhile to stay again.

Beautiful view near Shukkein Park”
Located just about 5-10 mins walk from Hiroshima Station and about 15 walk to the beautiful Shukkein Park. Room has an amazing view of the Kyobashi River with a working desk. Comfortable bed with extra pillows provided (which is quite rare in most hotels in Japan). The only setback is that the available floor space is quite narrow so it is quite difficult to lay a large luggage open on the floor.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the Hiroshima train station where there is lots of food options around. Staff was very friendly. Room was a bit small but that is typical of most hotels in Japan. Very clean and would definitely stay here again.

Great location only 5 min walking from Hiroshima station (look for the "THE" sign on the top of the building). Room size (queen) was just enough for a couple with 2 large suitcases. Bed was huge in japanese hotels standards. Amazing bathroom

Walked from Hiroshima station is not difficult, for first time visitors, once figure out the right direction to the hotel from train station, it is about 600m walk.
