“I definitely want to stay again!”
If your friend is considering a trip to Ho Chi Minh, I definitely recommend this hotel! My first trip to Southeast Asia was a fantastic experience. Here are the highlights: - Price: For 3000-3500 yen per night (as of March 2026), breakfast and a free rooftop bar are included. The breakfast featured in the pictures is included in the lodging cost, and you can choose from three daily changing menus, allowing you to try various dishes beyond just Vietnamese cuisine, so there's no risk of getting bored. The pho was especially excellent. I tried it at restaurants around town, but I found this hotel's version to be even tastier. I was also surprised by the free rooftop bar. You can enjoy several types of drinks (including Saigon Beer), snacks, and cup noodles for free. Therefore, I never found myself short of drinks or hungry in my room. The free washing machine and dryer were also very convenient. - About a room: I was very satisfied with the cleanliness! During my stay, I didn't see a single small bug. Additionally, there were multiple power outlets (with adapters) next to the bed, so I never had trouble charging my smartphone at night (Japanese outlets are compatible). The toilet and shower were clean and spacious, making it very comfortable. The air conditioning continued to work even when the room key was removed while I was out, so I never returned to an unbearably hot room. There was enough space with multiple chairs and a large table for meals, allowing me to eat food I bought nearby. There was a safe, refrigerator, and plenty of hangers and space for drying clothes. - Location: Within a 5-minute walk, you can find Benh Tan Market, high-rate currency exchange offices, Bui Vien St., and the Benh Tan subway station. The most popular banh mi spot among Japanese tourists, Banh Mi Huynh Hoa, is almost right in front of the hotel. It takes about 20-30 minutes on foot to reach the opera house or Post Office area in central Ho Chi Minh, where you would go to buy souvenirs or daily necessities, but calling a Grab taxi costs only about 200-500 yen, so I didn’t mind at all. I was very satisfied with the service from the staff, including the security guard who kindly answered my questions about recommended restaurants. Therefore, I definitely would like to use this hotel again on my next visit. The only minor issues I had were: - The refrigerator was a bit hard to cool. - The shower water was sometimes slow to warm up depending on the time of day.
