I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews, but it seemed they had replaced the tatami mats and sliding doors, and the room was very clean and spacious, turning out to be even nicer than I had anticipated. Although I checked in late and only stayed to sleep, I was glad that the hot spring was open until late, allowing me to relax without crowds both in the evening and in the morning. (In other popular hot spring inns, even if they are spacious, you often have to wait in line for the shower, which can lead to disappointing experiences...) The free playroom had a ping-pong table, trampoline, gym, and massage machine, and I enjoyed it without worrying about being seen as I had it all to myself. For breakfast, I had the morning set meal with grilled horse mackerel. It felt a bit small compared to the buffets I had experienced before, but since my trip was mainly about trying different foods, it was actually just right. After enjoying the morning hot spring, I went out to the rooftop, but it was already hot in the sun. I learned that the drink service on the rooftop starts in the afternoon. Since there was only green tea for breakfast, it would have been even better if coffee was available on the rooftop in the morning. Dinner was not included, but I was pleased to find a good-sized refrigerator (where food doesn’t melt) in the room, and there were also a microwave and toaster on the floor. I could warm up the food I brought and eat it in my room, which I appreciated. With fewer guest rooms, I recommend it for those who are not comfortable with crowds and noise! I was able to relax and take it easy. I also had to lay out my own futon, but this meant no one came into the room, allowing me to do it at my convenience, which was good for someone like me who is shy. However, as mentioned in other reviews, I could hear some voices from the neighboring room at night, and the floor of the washbasin in the hot spring was covered in hair, so it would have been appreciated if that area could have been cleaned more often. For those walking, if you lack stamina, it's safer to take a taxi. For those driving, be cautious as the narrow steep slope (the parking is also small) can be challenging. Since I left after work, I recommend this place for those looking for a location where you can check in until 10 PM with parking and a hot spring. Although it ended up being past 10 PM when I arrived, I was grateful to the night shift staff who handled my check-in courteously.
