The Soki Atami was a fantastic stay. The minute you step onto the property, you instantly feel calm and at peace. The interior is minimalist and rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was fantastic! The only down side is that the hotel is not located centrally to other things like shopping and dining, but if you're plan is to simply relax in the hot springs, this isn't an issue. They also offered activities like making your own scented satchel which was fun and a nice keepsake.

I stayed for two nights with my mother, and my husband joined us halfway, so there were three of us. Since it's inconvenient to get to the station, we had to use taxis every time we went back and forth to the facility or went out, but everything else was fantastic. The staff were wonderful and always greeted us with a smile. The facility is modern, very clean, and provides a calm environment to relax in. We also enjoyed the tea salon and the sache-making service. It was helpful that towels and amenities were provided in the large public bath. The meals were a bit on the large side, but they were very delicious and enjoyable. There were so many wonderful things that I can't fully explain, but I will definitely use this facility again.
I visited for 2 nights and 3 days. First, upon arrival, I was kindly guided to the front desk for check-in. Afterwards, I was also guided to my room. When I arrived in front of the room, I saw the view for the first time. The Modern! The hot spring was nice, and the cleaning was thorough. I had a plan with breakfast only for two days, but they prepared different menus, and the taste was quite good as well. I tend to stay at places with greasy buffets, but I’m glad I chose this hotel, which feels more health-conscious. I think I will definitely choose this place every time I come to Atami. I felt that the service was particularly wonderful, including the politeness and kindness during check-in and the taste of the local tea served as a welcome drink. The rooms and shared hallways were lovely, making me want to take photos of the facilities. Additionally, since the exit is on the first floor and the lobby is on the second floor, I didn't have to meet the staff when going to convenience stores at night, allowing me to go out without worrying about my attire. However, I felt there were two points that could be improved to make it even more wonderful. The first point was that I noticed some soap scum in the in-room hot spring. While it was certainly not overly slippery, there were some areas that were concerning. The second point was that even though the shared hallway was lovely, the exposed ceiling pipes were an eyesore. Other than these points, everything else was absolutely fantastic, and I definitely wish to stay again.

Loved this onsen ryokan. Our favorite hotel of the trip. Facilities were traditional Japanese but modern and new. Room was very spacious with in-room Onsen. Appreciated double sinks in the bathroom and the bountiful amenities. Loved the welcome tea and dessert on the roof. Breakfast and dinner were incredible - healthy, seasonal, Japanese food and plenty of it. In addition to a set meal for breakfast, there is also a buffet. There is a potpourri bag craft you can make in the reception area which was cute. I highly recommend to stay here if you can afford it.
