Shilin District hotels & accommodations

The staff was amazing, and the decor of the hotel was well done. However, the hotel is a bit far from the MRT. There's a bus stop near the entrance, but it's a bit of a long ride to downtown Taipei. It near 2 7-11's and a Carrefour so late night food is not an issue. The hotel breakfast is nothing special, but filling. (Your standard breakfast congee, toppings, toast...

The hotel was great - I booked it within 5 minutes of reading the reviews here. It was pretty far from the airport (we paid 1,200 TWD by airport taxi), and difficult to spot especially in the Shilin district, where shops and buildings are aplenty. It doesn't help that they don't have a drop-off point either (I actually thought our cabbie conned us when he insisted that...

Excellent hotel of this class, newer property and kept extremely clean and spotless! Front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. While I didn’t spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping and eating, it left a great impression on me. I stayed a room with king size bed along with wide range of amenities. The bath and shampoo was not on the smooth and silky sid...

This apartment was conveniently located near Shilin Mrt, about 3 mins walk from the Exit to Fude road, look for the building “Joetsu” and the apartment was just behind after passing by a cosmic shop. Although the room was small for 2 persons, but the bed was clean & very comfortable to sleep on. Once reached, just use the telephone to contact the staff to open the door...

We booked the standard room and felt the room was quite spacious. Bottled water was provided daily. Breakfast was included however we opted to sleep in instead (Latest breakfast session was 9.30am) 5 minute walk to Shilin station and Shilin Night Market. Family Mart Convience Store and Chang Hwa bank (don't accept Australian Currency unfortunately, try Bank of Taiwan ...

Generally speaking, the hotel is clean and tidy, and its staffs are friendly and helpful. I do find that you might be able to block the noises from outside the building, but you can hear it when next-room makes some louder sounds. A/C is recommended to be turned up at all times since the room doesn't smell as fresh as the hallway, but it's a minor problem. We loved t...

I seldom praise a hotel and I'm a cleanliness freak. Tango Inn although small, but it delivers the best hotel for its price! located 10 steps away from the mrt station. 5 mins away from shilin night market. Toilet seat has a warmer. Shower pressure excellent. Staff are warm and cheerful. Though they didn't provide breakfast, but the lounge has got small bits and free 2...

We attended to a special event and our group booked at this property which is located approx 40kms from Taoyuan International Airport. We arrived around lunch time and we waited check in time at 330pm. While waiting we ate at their restaurant located near the gate. The property has nothing fancy since it is like a student campus, there are teaching halls and students ...

Overall - I enjoy myself in the resort. However, if you're looking for a big resort with all the facility, this is not the place. However, if you're looking for something smaller in size, peaceful and nice, and come with friendly & attentive staffs - combined with a cozy hot spring place....It is one of the best that I came across so far. If you're looking for a relax...

We loved the location because we were only a few steps away from the Shilin Night Market and from the Taipei MRT Jiantan station. However, if you plan to go to other tourist attractions, or other night markets, keep in mind that the MRT stops at midnight and resumes the next day at 05:30am. There are other means of transport of course but for the travellers who can't f...

my husband and i were so impressed on the room design and cleanliness. we never expect they turn out so clean and comfortable almost like a 4 star hotel. shops are available for shopping just down the stairs. 2 minutes walk from shilin mtr station. the setbacks are the followings but ignorable to certain extends: 1. no elevators. you need to carry your luggage up t...

The other members of my party arrived without their luggage. The staff at the hotel communicated with the airline and arranged the delivery of the luggage the following day. I was very happy to see, upon entering the room, that the hotel provided so many toiletries; razor, toothbrush, hair brush and all the usual shampoo and soap. That was a huge help to my friends ...

Although location isn't very convenient if u don't own a car, you can still excess it by taxi from the main bus terminal at a cheap fare. Place is very clean & comfy! Cabin also comes with a private hotspring in toilet which is a superb bonus after a day's hike. Highly recommend this place for couples or family with children.

It is a very strategic location, well cleanest and environment surrounded by restaurant and mrt station. Only one stop can reach to shilin night market. Only the hotel wifi abit poor connected. Overall is a good recommended place to stay if you are spending a budget trip.
