New Jersey hotels & accommodations

Perfectly located in Long Branch on the Jersey Shore, this resort hotel has it all. Great pool, tiki bar, and ocean views. Cross the path right onto the beach to enjoy the sand and surf. Restaurant in property is OK. 2 minute walk to the shops and more restaurants. Be prepared to pay for all the convenience as this is one pricey place.

Very nicely decorated, clean, breakfast was very good with great selection. Staff were always helpful and willing to help. The shuttle was not the best I've had. The hours said open till 9 pm but twice we got back at 845 and could not book the next day as no one was on duty and we were not allowed to book ahead. There was a lot of tension at pick up locations as the...

The room was very upscale and clean. No view, but I did not book a room with a view. When checking in, I stated that I did not want to pay for the wifi and spa because I would not use. The check in person stated that it was complimentary. Be aware that it is not. Everyone pays the $17.00 fee wether or not they us it. Parking cost a one time fee of $5.00 but you can com...

My wife and I celebrated her early birthday in AC and we stayed at the Showboat. It was directly next door to where we were seeing Jersey Boys. The check in line was a bit long since it was 5 July and lots of check outs. Rumors of rooms not being ready spread through the long line, but was quickly dispelled when we got to the counter. The room was comfortable and...

At first we were kinda peeved that Harrah’s wasn’t on the boardwalk, but after checking out all the hotels, we determined Harrah’s was by far the best. The pool/hot tub is amazing, they play much better music than the other casinos, and they offer free drinks while gambling - right from an electronic menu at your seat! Something that we took for granted until visiting ...

When I checked in, I was the first in line. There were 2 front desk agents, and one of them was assisting me, but started helping his co-worker who was checking in the lady who had walked up after me. I thought it was first come, first serve; especially when there was someone else helping the other/second person in line? The lady ended up being helped, and walked away,...

Thin walls, but didn't spend much time in room. Key cards kept deactivating, had to go to front desk to get new at least three times (no, they weren't stored by credit cards or cellphone). Several machines were always out of ice. These were minor things. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. Nice location on boardwalk. Trams and jitneys available. Great valet ...

Everything is good: staff at the front dest, check-in process, parking, facility and cleaniess. The bartender at hotel is racist. We ordered a bottle of wine, and what he only did was to bring the wine and empty glass and left. We literally self-service ourself by opening the wine and pouring it into the glasses. Additionally, he brought back the bill right after givi...

They care enough to wish every guests a Happy New Year by knocking on each door n gave us a pack of chocolates. They really show the spirit of the festive season thru giving n caring. We also book a shuttle bus to JFK airport. It came on time & we didnt have to confirm anymore. The service is really gd. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my relatives n friends

It was confusing where parking garage to park in. Also, Wasn't happy about the $100 deposit fee when I already paid for the hotel and everything and also another fee after we checked out which was not happy about that! I am regular from New Jersey and I vacation in Wildwood, so I thought i would give Atlantic City a try. Overall the hotel was good, but I would pick Wil...

We booked online last minute without much idea about what we were getting into. When we arrived, we were impressed by the charming building near the commuter train station and apparently near a bike path. The interior did not disappoint--it felt like old school charm. The room was very comfortable, and breakfast exceeded our expectations. We would definitely choose the...

I stayed here for two nights. The first night my shower handle came off while in a hot shower and I had to be transferred to another room. I had to move all my stuff quickly and I was there on a business trip. I had my AirPods and the day after my sudden move to another room they were no where to be found. The staff was not friendly or helpful with my situation and I b...

I was hoping to have a breakfast included in the price of the room. The previous hotel did this. Of course, I realize this could possibly increase the cost of the room but I hope not. Our children and grandchildren live nearby and we will return. Just a thought.........

Our stay was fantastic. The location was great. Near everything. Hotel was clean and staff was so helpful. Our room was clean, roomy and amenities were newer. Parking was also a plus. It was included and plenty of spaces were available. We didn’t get breakfast but it looked amazing. Thank you, Lisette

The location was easy to get to, and the price was right for the time of year we visited. The breakfast smelled really good but we never got to eat it (not early risers). My only issue was that the bathroom is very small and the showerhead essentially gets water all over the floor which is hard to avoid. My husband also complained that the room seemed damp. Apart from ...

They gave me a warm cookie when I checked in, and I have nothing to complain about regarding the amenities. The front desk helped reserve a car early next morning back to the airport and communicated things well between staff so even though a different person was at concierge the next morning they immediately knew the situation and promptly checked me out despite deali...

Everything about our experience was exceptional. Being about a 20 minute drive to Philly makes this hotel a prime location without paying Philly hotel prices. Room was great. Shower water pressure perfect and didn't have to fiddle with temperature control to get the right water temperature. Heater was spot on. It does get hot very quickly. Staff was supportive. The gro...

The Brigantine Inn's, aka Legacy Resort, best feature is it's location on the beach. ON THE BEACH, people for a reasonable price! Built in 1927, the facility retains it's art deco style with a variety of room/suite sizes suitable for couples or families. I choose the large queen efficiency which was spacious, had apartment size appliances. There is an indoor pool & g...

no there is no microwave, no refrigerator, no free breakfast but the rooms are huge, the bathroom is a walk-in shower with bigelow amenities, it is right across the street from new jersey transit train station, the community is up and coming, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, there's the new jersey transit bus 48 which you can take under the trestle of the...
Cheap places to stay in New Jersey

Besides the desk clerk being a very nice gentleman, I have nothing good to say. We booked a queen room but was given a suite with two double beds. It had a full kitchen but no coffee maker. The bedspreads were filthy stained underneath but the sheets were fresh and clean. Carpet was not vacuumed, walls were disgustingly dirty. The outside of the place was much cleaner ...

I was in the area for a wedding and decided to stay at this location. I had called Red Roof Inn (RRI) to let them know that my flight would be in by 2am and that I would not get there 3am - Rebecca was amazing in making sure everything was easy and flawless. I also needed to check-out past the late checkout time due to the events running over. Again, the staff here was...

Sunny was excellent, staff was pleasant. Location is a 10!!! I was near everything. I was a few step from the beach, bars, restaurants, casinos, etc. Price was excellent i booked with agoda got the room for $45.00 a night. 100 security deposit. Room was a 9 on cleanliness. Im a professional cleaner, so... They could have done better with the breakfast. Waffles was prom...

One of the cheapest places around. I felt my room was very clean and relatively modern. Good location to dozens of BYOB restaurants ranging from Vietnamese, Sushi, Chinese, Moroccan, Mediterrean, Indian, and many more. If thats not your thing there's an Applebees and Fridays within 3 minutes.

This might actually be a nice place to stay.... BUT From fire alarms at all hours of the night (caused by smoking and similar things) to some necessary repairs that aren’t done for weeks, it’s hard to understand what management and staff are thinking when they seem to just accept those problems rather than fixing them and possibly moving up a star.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the beach in driving distance and just want somewhere decent to stay. The interior of the room could use a little work. I found a long hair in the bathtub and a hair on one of the wash clothes. Also some hair in the bed. It's just a place to sleep and shower so no need to give a bad review. Price should be ch...

This is a spot you and they guys can stay the night but not your wife, girlfriend, or family. We were moved from our room due to the air conditioner being broken and the room next to us were moved due to having a rat in their room. The staff was great in accommodating us and were sympathetic.

Where to start? Generally a very run down place. Rude Staff - very!! They do not replenish breakfast items. Breakfast in general very poor. Lack of choice. Dirty, dusty rooms. Picked this place, because it was local to one of my relatives. All I will say is DO NOT STAY HERE.

Hotel staff friendly and very helpful, shuttle right outside hotel every 10mins takes you right into the heart of new york city. Room clean and comfortable, great value for money, in room facilities fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, safe, TV, wifi, would stay here again

We booked the Starlux last minute when we were unhappy with our original booking. It was a pleasant surprise compared to other NJ Shore hotels. The staff was wonderful, especially Bob! He made the effort to get to know our names and he was very helpful and super friendly. The hotel offers the use of beach chairs, boogie boards and even sand toys for the kids. In the ...

The hotel overall was good, staff was friendly, but has big elevator problem. We were on 12th floor and could not get into elevator. There was some big conference and everyone was probably checking out on that day. The elevators were full and it took an hour before we were able to get one. There were only 4 elevators in such a big hotel and one of them was not worki...

This review them to improve particular in area of staff ,lake of warm welcome, normally you get two keys for room all over usa, she gave me only one key, my friends in the hotel had microwave & refrigerator in his room, in our room nothing, near the table there was no bulb , which I inform to front desk, two days no action to replace the bulb. they have very good res...

The hotel was very comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they double charged my credit card for my booking as the room was prepaid and they charged me again on arrival. It took a few very frustrating phone calls at my expense from Los Angeles to New Jersey to sort it out but it was eventually sorted and fully refunded.

my husband travels a lot for business and i always accompany him so i can say we do have a lot of hotel experiences in many different countries. so when i booked the westin for our stay, my expectations were very high: (sorry, as this may be a long one...) 1. when i first saw the bathroom, i wondered whether this was the new modern style because i had never seen on...

This was one of four hotels I stayed at on my car trip from NE to Georgia and was by far the best. I had a wonderful stay with my three dogs! The reception desk staffed were so nice and paid a great deal of attention to the dogs. The food was outstanding

No complaints about this resort! My husband and I stayed for a few days with our 10 month old and 2.5 year old. Our room was spotless without a grain of sand. The kitchen was great and had everything needed for us and the children including soap, paper towel, dishwasher pod and rag for cleaning dishes. There were so many employees around making sure everything was spot...

Excellent! Our appartement was on the 35th floor. There is a full view to Manhattan's skyscrapers from both rooms. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Everything that's needed is at hand in the kitchen or in the bathroom. The key even contained a Shoprite store card to get discounts. Clean rooms and clean bathroom. Would recommend to everybody, will visit again in the futur...
Luxury hotels in New Jersey

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour and a half for our room. We didn’t get a text msg letting us know whether our room was ready so we went to concierge. They gave us a new room. When we used the key card and got into our room, other guests were inside - both of us were in shock! This should not have happened. Our room was eventually discounted, but that was a sc...
