Nebraska State hotels & places to stay

Really liked the hotel. The room was nice, has a fridge. The beds seem a bit small but ok. Breakfast was good. The pool depth is 3ft at the deepest. Was great for kids. Not a huge pool but a lot of fun for kids. There is a patio off of the pool to go outside. It is fenced in. Nice for drying off.

Fantastic place to relax. The rooms vey clean and so comfortable. Check in was fast and so hospitable. Fresh baked cookies offered. The breakfast tops it all.

At first we a little put off by how different it was from the typical hotels we have stayed in. It is definately different. But, then the place really started to grow on us. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Cons: Not worth the money. Took 40 minutes to check in due to inept staff and out-of-date computer system, broken AC's in numerous rooms, toilet didn't flush, stains on carpet, pool and hot tub were disgusting, weird smells everywhere. Pros: clean sheets, really nice breakfast guy. Bottom line: There are many hotels in this area. Do not waste your money on this one.

Pros: Excellent location downtown. You can walk to all the major company headquarters without having to worry about parking or getting lost somehow in the one way streets. Basically, it's a real convenient location and it's also close enough to the Old Market that you can walk there and get some food and drinks without drving/taxi/uber, etc... Another big pro; huge...

It's my go to Hotel for every stay in Lincoln now.

The room smelled musty. The carpeting felt damp. We saw live frog in the hallway. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. The soup arrived cold. The Best Western is close to the highway, but certainly there are better choices.

I was worried after hearing other reviews our two queen bed room had plenty of room for our son’s pack n’ play. Staff asked for a credit card to receive payment but after I mentioned I already paid on Agoda he cleared that up and was nice. Arrived with my 11 year old daughter to be told the hotel had no parking and you will probably have to park on the street. Female front desk person who informed me of this rolled her eye at me when I asked to speak to the manager. I've traveled for forty plus years. This facility rates as one of the best I've stayed at. The entire facility was excellent. The staff is great.

We had a great time for the 3 days we were there. The place was very clean & the staff was friendly. Loved the breakfast & the daily change of the hot items. Nice variety of food. We enjoyed the dinner the one night we were there. It was simple but very tasty. Would definitely return for another stay next time we are in town. Thank You

Other times hotel was clean and looked tidey this time it was unkept dirty floors lumpy bed which made the room look not appealing. Swimming pool was nice. Location is main reason for choosing this hotel. Not sure if i would stay in it again.

This was the only hotel to make it easy to book one room with all my kids. When I got to the hotel, however, I found out a Queen Suite had two Queen beds. Two of my kids would have to sleep on the floor. I called the front desk. The young lady brought us a rollaway bed, so only one child had to sleep on the floor. This Best Western was incredibly clean. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly when we checked in and out. The only thing we encountered that was not great was that the curtains were blocked from closing over the whole window. We were on the second floor so this wasn't a huge problem, but it would have been nice to block the light.

We’re normally Marriott Residence Inn folks, but that’s not available in this town. I didn’t know standard room =smoking and it was very smoky, my asthma started kicking up. Hotel was nice enough to move us. Very grateful for that. Good hotel if you have a pet and want a pool.

This was just the kind of convenient, short-stay hotel we were looking for. Very clean and new facility.

The staff was friendly and prompt to check us in quickly. There is a parking garage available to hotel customers (for an additional fee) but it does not connect to the hotel. Spent 3 days visiting Creighton University, great location 3 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from Creighton, 5 minutes from great Old Market area. Room was terrific - 2 queens, large desk, end tables, wardrobe closet with hangers, iron and board, 2 tv's (one for each bed), small fridge. This is an older property that is in dire need of an update. The staff, however, are the best I’ve seen! AC was unable to keep up in the rooms over this very hot weekend. Staff was accommodating and tried to move us to a room that was better and for that I’m thankful. Howard is wonderful and an asset to this facility. I enjoyed the theme of the hotel and the connection to the past. Also, upgrades are evident, and there is a modern twist with games and books available! The employees were courteous and welcoming. Free beverage at check-in a nice touch, and cookies were included.

This is my second stay here and I would return again. The hotel is clean, very comfortable and just a very relaxing stay. There are fabulous restaurants just a 2 minute walk away and a nice neighborhood grocery store just around the corner.

Place was dirty staff not warm and welcoming breakfast was cold and microwaved

The room is ok but the location is great. Very close to freeway and is ease access. Lots restaurant close by and gas station is right beside the hotel. And this hotel give you free internet access too.

Nice, clean hotel. Good value, beds were VERY firm. Not a huge amount of frills or additional comforts. Nice shower, but tiny bathroom. Well lit room, conveniently located light switches, nice little work space. We ate at the Mel's Diner located beside the hotel, and that was also very good. Quick service, abundant amount of food, and wonderful comfort food.

We recently stayed here during a family road trip and it was perfect. The two room suite really made it easy for our entire family to be comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.
