Nebraska State hotels & accommodations
Really liked the hotel. The room was nice, has a fridge. The beds seem a bit small but ok. Breakfast was good. The pool depth is 3ft at the deepest. Was great for kids. Not a huge pool but a lot of fun for kids. There is a patio off of the pool to go outside. It is fenced in. Nice for drying off.
Fantastic place to relax. The rooms vey clean and so comfortable. Check in was fast and so hospitable. Fresh baked cookies offered. The breakfast tops it all.
At first we a little put off by how different it was from the typical hotels we have stayed in. It is definately different. But, then the place really started to grow on us. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The accommodations we adequate for the two of us and the location near downtown was just a few blocks walk from the Old Market S...
Cons: Not worth the money. Took 40 minutes to check in due to inept staff and out-of-date computer system, broken AC's in numerous rooms, toilet didn't flush, stains on carpet, pool and hot tub were disgusting, weird smells everywhere. Pros: clean sheets, really nice breakfast guy. Bottom line: There are many hotels in this area. Do not waste your money on this one.
Traveling cross country great location off interstate. Clean, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
Pros: Excellent location downtown. You can walk to all the major company headquarters without having to worry about parking or getting lost somehow in the one way streets. Basically, it's a real convenient location and it's also close enough to the Old Market that you can walk there and get some food and drinks without drving/taxi/uber, etc... Another big pro; huge...
It's my go to Hotel for every stay in Lincoln now.
The room smelled musty. The carpeting felt damp. We saw live frog in the hallway. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. The soup arrived cold. The Best Western is close to the highway, but certainly there are better choices.
I was worried after hearing other reviews our two queen bed room had plenty of room for our son’s pack n’ play. Staff asked for a credit card to receive payment but after I mentioned I already paid on Agoda he cleared that up and was nice. Bathtub had some flaking paint and I killed a spider, but other than that the room was great. I was happy it was the room with the ...
Arrived with my 11 year old daughter to be told the hotel had no parking and you will probably have to park on the street. Female front desk person who informed me of this rolled her eye at me when I asked to speak to the manager. Went up to my room and could hear the elevators go up and down the entire time, asked for a different room was told they didn't have any o...
I've traveled for forty plus years. This facility rates as one of the best I've stayed at. The entire facility was excellent. The staff is great.
We had a great time for the 3 days we were there. The place was very clean & the staff was friendly. Loved the breakfast & the daily change of the hot items. Nice variety of food. We enjoyed the dinner the one night we were there. It was simple but very tasty. Would definitely return for another stay next time we are in town. Thank You
I would stay again.
Front desk staff helpful. Great breakfast.
Other times hotel was clean and looked tidey this time it was unkept dirty floors lumpy bed which made the room look not appealing. Swimming pool was nice. Location is main reason for choosing this hotel. Not sure if i would stay in it again.
This was the only hotel to make it easy to book one room with all my kids. When I got to the hotel, however, I found out a Queen Suite had two Queen beds. Two of my kids would have to sleep on the floor. I called the front desk. The young lady brought us a rollaway bed, so only one child had to sleep on the floor. The fridge was loud, so I turned it off. Breakfast was ...
Perfect location, staff was great and very helpful, great bars and restaurants nearby - I stay here every time I come to Omaha.
This Best Western was incredibly clean. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly when we checked in and out. The only thing we encountered that was not great was that the curtains were blocked from closing over the whole window. We were on the second floor so this wasn't a huge problem, but it would have been nice to block the light.
The Art Deco decor was outstanding and the facilities in the room first class We dined late after a late plane arrival and found the MEATLOAF sublime ... full credit to the chef Yours truly Prudence hassan. Melbourne Australia
We’re normally Marriott Residence Inn folks, but that’s not available in this town. I didn’t know standard room =smoking and it was very smoky, my asthma started kicking up. Hotel was nice enough to move us. Very grateful for that. Good hotel if you have a pet and want a pool.
This was just the kind of convenient, short-stay hotel we were looking for. Very clean and new facility.
The staff was friendly and prompt to check us in quickly. There is a parking garage available to hotel customers (for an additional fee) but it does not connect to the hotel. You must exit the parking garage walk down the street and enter the main front doors of the hotel. Which is totally fine if you are very ambulatory & the weather is nice. The room was clean and c...
Spent 3 days visiting Creighton University, great location 3 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from Creighton, 5 minutes from great Old Market area. Room was terrific - 2 queens, large desk, end tables, wardrobe closet with hangers, iron and board, 2 tv's (one for each bed), small fridge. Breakfast included waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage...
This is an older property that is in dire need of an update. The staff, however, are the best I’ve seen! AC was unable to keep up in the rooms over this very hot weekend. Staff was accommodating and tried to move us to a room that was better and for that I’m thankful. Howard is wonderful and an asset to this facility. The ladies at the breakfast area deserve raises - ...
I enjoyed the theme of the hotel and the connection to the past. Also, upgrades are evident, and there is a modern twist with games and books available! The employees were courteous and welcoming. Free beverage at check-in a nice touch, and cookies were included.
This is my second stay here and I would return again. The hotel is clean, very comfortable and just a very relaxing stay. There are fabulous restaurants just a 2 minute walk away and a nice neighborhood grocery store just around the corner.
Place was dirty staff not warm and welcoming breakfast was cold and microwaved
The room is ok but the location is great. Very close to freeway and is ease access. Lots restaurant close by and gas station is right beside the hotel. And this hotel give you free internet access too.
Nice, clean hotel. Good value, beds were VERY firm. Not a huge amount of frills or additional comforts. Nice shower, but tiny bathroom. Well lit room, conveniently located light switches, nice little work space. We ate at the Mel's Diner located beside the hotel, and that was also very good. Quick service, abundant amount of food, and wonderful comfort food.
We recently stayed here during a family road trip and it was perfect. The two room suite really made it easy for our entire family to be comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Front desk staff helpful. Great breakfast.
Cons: Not worth the money. Pros: clean sheets, really nice breakfast guy. Bottom line: There are many hotels in this area. Do not waste your money on this one.
The shower was dripping, a problem the hotel knew was happening, sounds of drips all night. The air conditioner was loud all night. Think walls hearing people come and go all night. Clean, worth the 50 bucks we paid.
Great price location and enjoyed my stay
Fantastic place to relax. The rooms vey clean and so comfortable. Check in was fast and so hospitable. Fresh baked cookies offered. The breakfast tops it all.
This place is run down and needs lots of maintence . Faucets were striped, shower moldy, nails coming out of walls and stains from art that had been removed, security door not working so carpet flooded in the rain, plaster peeling off pool. The whole place is just run down. There are lots of newer hotels to choose from on the same block, pick something else!
This value priced motel was clean, a quiet and offered us a very comfortable mattress. These are the big 3 when traveling. Convenient to gas, interstate and a Dunkin Donuts.
My wife and I knew that we would be arriving at the motel near midnight so we opted to find a less expensive hotel. I read a few comments that noted the hotel needed to be updated. Yes, it isn't brand new, nor has it recently been remodeled. But the price was cheap compared to name brand hotel/motels, it was very easy to get to, and we used an actual key that worked...
The main room was fairly clean however the bathroom was very poor. The window had mold on it and the molding on the bathtub was rusty and moldy. Very outdated and needs some renovation and TLC to improve it.
The bed is comfy but the room is small and bathroom was not eye appeasing
Our smoke detector was not intact, but the room was clean and accessible. The coffee creamer was old and curdled in the coffee. Good value for the price.
Very late room service. Very dirty and smelly facility Too hidden Loud heater, poor internet connection, and no breakfast served in the morning even though it is advertised to be included in the reservation. I will never go there ever again.
Customer service was really great and awesome. Well located and very clean. Good odor and smell and happy breakfast. Really recommend 100% this hotel to everyone.
Cons: Iron didn’t work in room. Coffee maker did t work in room. Air conditioner barely worked. Coffee downstairs literally had a towel in the coffee basket- so gross! Continental breakfast was cereal and bread Even though a non-smoking room, it smelled terrible- I had to use my inhaler repeatedly for my asthma. Dirty, dirty, dirty- I have pictures to prove it!
The rooms were nice and clean. The folks running it are maybe a little quiet and stand off-ish, but that is OK with us. We left maybe 9 am and saw one of the rooms being cleaned and it got a thorough mopping as they there is no carpeting, which can hide dirt. Good place and good value. We will stay there again if we are in the area
The owners are excellent and friendly people that go out of their way to make you feel at home. I have stayed here many times during cross country trips and I have never been disappointed.
This place was fantastic. We loved it.
The staff are extremely nice. The hotel has been completely remodeled and the rooms are nice. Need could be a little more comfortable, but nice non the less!
I had an unscheduled trip to Valentine and had to book a hotel immediately. As a small business owner controlling costs is paramount. The value received for this hotel was great. A nice hot breakfast for free didn't hurt either.
I was helping my Uncle move from California to Ohio and we had 3 pets with us and even the pet room was clean and tidy.
All and all this is a clean, comfortable, well managed property with a friendly well trained staff. The price however was beyond ridicules. I was there for the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting and admittedly the entire city was in a price gouging mood, but these charges bordered on exploitation.
I enjoyed the theme of the hotel and the connection to the past. Also, upgrades are evident, and there is a modern twist with games and books available! The employees were courteous and welcoming. Free beverage at check-in a nice touch, and cookies were included.
Easy access to what i needed. Nice breakfast, nice staff, good value for the money
for an economy price, i expected something a bit shabby, but it wasn't at all. very pleasant. next door to a nice restaurant, but the motel breakfast was good enough for me.
I didn't really mind the location and price. It's a MOTEL so I expected it to be just ok. However, the were things in my room and fellow family members rooms that were completely UNACCEPTABLE. Underneath and behind the beds hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long. We found dead cockroaches, toys, gum, dirt, bottles and paper under our beds. Pillows were old and gros...

First the good: The hotel was clean, the rooms nicely maintained The historical presidential theme, due to originally being called The White House Inn, was a nice touch. The bad: The hotel is located on a major thoroughfare, directly across the highway are busy railroad tracks with a railroad crossing, numerous trains pass by at all hours day and night having to sound ...
Room was as described. Breakfast provided with waffles, cereal, and biscuits. Fruit would have been nice. Didn't get to use the pool, but small and nice looking.
It was a great experience. The room was smoking which is hard to come by these days, the price was perfect, there's a beautiful view of the water behind the Inn and great breakfast. The staff when we got there was super friendly and very caring making sure we had what we needed and answered all our questions. The staff leaving in the morning was so sweet and welcomi...
Very nice staff! Thanks, Melissa!
