Maine State hotels & accommodations
Pretty nice hotel with play ground for children and outdoor pool for all. Overall it was a good place to stay in and the price is very reasonable with breakfast included.
No complaints at all loved our stay. Contrary to others staying lower floors street side, we had no issue with the noise coming from the club across the road (we stayed on a Saturday night). Unless you are a very light sleeper, this should not be a deterrent from staying here. Would not hesitate to book again.
Booked this place on a last minute trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Despite reading negative reviews the place was real easy to get to and our room was pretty comfortable. It's just minutes from downtown bar harbor so it was nice being able to wake up early and find parking in town.
It was a nice stay. Thanks
Two minutes walk to the Portland Transportation Center, large quiet room, good wifi. Breakfast buffet was excellent (and cheap). Staff is pleasant, found a taxi for me. Facilities are well-kept and functional, but sadly in need of refurbishment. The elevator is the slowest elevator I've ever been in!
I was very concerned about staying at this hotel after having read the terrible reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was spacious and very clean, The beds were comfortable and we had lots of pillows. The in room coffee was tasty. The breakfast consisted of breads, oatmeal of different flavours, yogurt, juices, and bananas. The only complaint w...
Literally right around the corner from the on/off ramp of I-95, smack dab in the middle of ALL the tourist attractions in Southern Maine, whether your going North to Freeport/Brunswick or South to Old Orchard Beach/York. The Indoor/Outdoor pools are well maintained. Full breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Accommodations are comfortable; beds are soft, climate c...
wonderful & too short
Front desk was friendly and checkin was easy. our room was clean. Ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant located behind the hotel which was convenient and also yummy! Decided to check out the downtown Bangor area and took a 10 minute Uber there. The beds were very comfy! We slept great! Breakfast was included and had a variety of choices. We enjoyed our stay and w...
Was a nice Hotel. quiet clean room. Breakfast was a good assortment.
Great place. Great location and service. Exceptional breakfast. 3 minutes walk to waterfront area, shopping street.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our check-in and recommendations. However, the wifi was very slow and for a few days internet was inaccessible even in the business lounge, which hindered our ability to work remotely. Also, as a big family traveling on a tight schedule, we found it difficult to squeeze in our laundry with only one was...
I loved our stay at the new tru by Hilton Hotel. very convenient, nice rooms and very comfortbale bed. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel staff wa salways friendly and ready to answer a question or offer a service.
Great value with nice amenities
Beautiful bed and breakfast. Food was amazing. The hotel had originally been a sea captain’s home. The location is across the street from the water. It was the New England experience that we were looking for.
Bed was rock hard. Ice machine located directly opposite room door - very noisy. TV choice very limited with no guide.
I have stayed here many times, always a good experience. They go out of their way to make your stay graet
Family of four stayed two nights. The continental breakfast had a decent variety, but better fresh fruit options would be appreciated. Only oranges and apples. The eggs and sausage were not bad. Cereals & oatmeal were very sugary, so low sugar options would be appreciated. The rooms were clean and big, but the one issue was the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable th...
Staff was great, location was perfect to Portland and surrounding area and the breakfast was amazing.
We love Kennebunkport and the Breakwater inn has always been one of our favorite places to stay, the grounds are beautiful and relaxing in the afternoon with a glass of wine to watch the boats come in. However this year, this year there was a wedding on Saturday and we were not made aware of this prior to booking. The lawn to sit andrelax on Friday afternoon was ta...
Room was in the “annex”(building behind the main building. The hallway to the rooms was dark and dingy. The room was dark, dated(significantly). No headboard for the bed(you can see the holes in the wall where one was previously mounted). The carpet was such that you knew you didn’t want to walk barefoot on it; bathroom floor was linoleum, which you probably wouldn’t ...
Waked up at 5:56 by noisy sound of dump truck and a 2sd at 7:20.
The HVAC system was terrible. Its winter time and the HVAC kept bouncing back and forth between A/C and heater, trying to control the room temperature. It would go from cold to hot, hot to cold. It was very loud. Bed / pillows / towels were comfortable. Furniture and décor of the room was out dated / worm. TV was good. Carpet seamed matted/worn
Due to an error in type of room booked with Agoda Mr Rajni Patel( Gen Manager) was kind enough in upgrading us.We very much appreciated this gesture.
It's very good quality quite clean services staff very friendly helpfully all the time showing smiles breakfast excellent ..only swimming pool out of order
This was a great, clean hotel with extra friendly staff to rest our heads for a concert event. No frills and an older facilities but they do a great job keeping things clean. Service at the front desk and the free shuttles to and from the venue were an added bonus!
The Quality Inn & Suites is a very clean, quiet hotel located just off I-95 in Augusta. It was quiet easy to find and is in a convenient location near shopping, restaurants, and major roads in Augusta. My mother and I stayed here during a week-long visit with my brother and his family. We both really enjoyed the hotel's breakfast bar. Lots of good choices of both cooke...
No major complaints about the facility except that the price was double what I paid for comparable accommodations in Massachusetts the previous night!
Helpful and positive staff. Very clean.
I needed a place to crash with my kids after driving up from Jersey, with an 8:45 AM ferry to catch in Rockland. Decent, no frills motel between Brunswick and Bath. No muss, no fuss. In at 10:00 PM out by 6:30 AM.
Cheap places to stay in Maine State
Really awesome hostel. Walking distance to all that Portland has to offer. Friendly staff. Really cool and out there design. Clean and comfortable.
Unbeleivable gem,value,class,hospitality all in one!
thin walls
Place is very musty. They installed an automatic fabreeze spray in the hallway which have a very strong smell. Toilet flushing were very loud. Shower water flows is slow. Breakfast is bad. Eggs is cold and rubbery.
Needs an update but the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good enough for a night or two.. Limited breakfast selection but you wouldn’t expect more from a budget motel . A nice enough place for a short stay.
It was a nice stay. Thanks
My sister and I went here on a one day trip to Maine! It was an amazing hotel, with a swimming pool and hot tub. The room was so cozy and almost like being in a small house the way it is designed. We both LOVED it! It is really a wonderful place to stay! I fully recommend it with 10 Stars!!

For a last minute booking this location ticked most boxes! Was a godsend to have an Italian take out right across the street!
The place is with good location - less than 15mins drive to Bar Harbor, and with food nearby. The room is just fine with private bath. We requested hair dryer which staff provides us promptly. But there is some ant in the room. We kept two apples and a small bunch of bananas in the room but other than that no food in. The shower head keeps dropping water, if you are...
Very nice hotel.
It's very good quality quite clean services staff very friendly helpfully all the time showing smiles breakfast excellent ..only swimming pool out of order
Arrived very late (23:30) on a Saturday, after driving from Boston, after delayed transAtlantic flight. Office had closed hours before, but Manageress had left key to my pre-booked chalet in an envelope with my name on it. Each chalet has its own car parking-space right outside the door. Very convenient for moving suitcases in & out. Very comfortable bed. Slept in unti...
I arrived here after a long International Journey in which I took a regular taxi thinking it was the one from the hotel but it wasn’t. It was my mistake yet the hotel staff happily paid for it and had no problem. The Management was also completely understanding of my situation and refunded me of my reservation that I made from a night I was stuck in the airport due to...

This motel is a 20 minutes drive from old Orchard Beach and about 5 to 10 minutes drive to downtown Portland. The room was clean and convenient and the clerck was very helpful. I would go back.

Mix up with the room, but Leah contacted the manager for us & got an upgrade. Great customer service.
Hotel a short drive away from the waterfront. Rooms big and clean.
Staff very friendly and helpful. On route 1 but room was quiet. Well maintained.

Facilities are well-kept and functional, but sadly in need of refurbishment. The elevator is the slowest elevator I've ever been in!
The saving grace of this place was the waffle maker for breakfast. That was totally amazing! While the room was spacious and had a separate little den so I could work while my family slept in the main bedroom, the overall state of the place seemed broken down. I was expecting a bit more from vacation area Maine. The price warranted something better, I felt. Next time ...
I was traveling with a lot of valuables in my car and was happy to see such a well lit parking lot. The hotel looked new and was very clean and easy to find from I-95. Will stay again.
it was perfect for us as we have friends on the beach, would recommend more areas to dry towels and other wet stuff
It's ok if you only stay for a night, nothing special
Very satisfied with the service, room clean, next to the beach. Really pleasant. I recommend.
The motel looks okay from the outside, however, the interior of the motel reeks of concoction of vomit and cigarettes. Once you have survived the hallway, the room is okay. The beds were okay for the price point. The location of the motel is around 10 minutes drive from downtown portland, if you did not drive, i would not advise you to stay, it seems to be quite inacce...
The hosts were great and were waiting for us as I called to say we might not make it till close to 9pm, it was no problem. Very kind and helpful people. The room was super clean and Oh so homey! The glider rockers are a great touch.
Simple but comfortable and clean motel near the entrance to Acadia National Park. It's a long drive down to Bar Harbor and most of the Acadia attractions, but it's very convenient if you're doing a tour down the coastal Route 1. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth.

Went on an late Fall biking excursion in Acadia and was lucky to get a room at the Inn before it closed for the season. Friendly staff, nice room (upgraded to a view since the place was empty). lots of help planning a route through the park - overall a great warm helpful Maine bunch behind the counter. Breakfast buffet was better than expected for a continental.
thin walls
In middle of town centre. 5 min walk from beach. Lovely small hotel with well decorated rooms. Historic building so bit noisy. Great hosts who explain all you need to know. Good restaurants at walking distance.
Very kind Host and Perfect location and facilities.
nice location near the boardwalk awesome nice clean room for the price
I only hesitate to say how awesome this hotel is because if people know how great this place is, I may not be able to get a room the next time I want one. This place was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Not to mention the most relaxing.
Luxury hotels in Maine State
Beautifully rehabbed historic building with beautiful windows and high ceilings. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. There is an excellent bakery/coffee house right across the street.
