Hawaii hotels & accommodations
The hotel is right across the road from the beach with beach towels available in room. Bus stops are located directly across the road, very helpful for getting around on a budget. The staff were so helpful and friendly. If you have an early flight request an early check in they are more than happy to accomodate. Tours can be booked through the expedia concierge in...
We were on our honeymoon and stayed three nights at Queen Kapiolani. It's located at the end of the Waikiki stretch so a little away from the hustle and bustle but still easy enough to access. Great view of diamond head from the hotel pool. I wish we had spent a little more and gone for an ocean view room or a diamond head view, as the view from our room was of the hos...
I picked here for our honeymoon hotel in hawaii. the hotel is located right in front of Waikiki and very close to the major shopping area. hotel is very modern and secure. room is of white decor and very comfy. on the first floor, there is the bookroom/ bar and it's quite nice at night. there is a club adjacent to the hotel I recommend this hotel for the couple who enj...
We're from Australia, and we just had our honeymoon in Hawaii and spent the last 5 nights at Turtle Bay Resort. We loved it! Reception staff were lovely, the staff at breakfast were all friendly and really kind and efficient at Kula Grille. We had breakfast included in our booking, which was continental buffet - lots to choose from. And you could upgrade to the full b...
As the cost of this hotel was a fraction of other hotels in the vicinity, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the studio room. Had two double beds, a large dresser, table and chairs, and a good size closet in the bathroom, including a safe. A bonus was a little kitchen area which had a sink and dorm size refrigerator. Sadly no microwave could be found in the...
I chose the Maui Seaside because I wanted a central location and didn´t need a beach in front of my room. I stayed in other Seaside Hotels in Hawaii and this was not the best. The staff was friendly, check-in and check-out were quick, parking was good and it was a good base for exploring different parts of the island. The hotel room was large, and reasonably quiet give...
I've stayed here a few times now when I have connections through Hawaii and am always impressed with how nice it is for an "airport hotel." The shuttle service is dependable and frequent, the staff are always really friendly and the hotel rooms are nice. Good bed, great shower, fridge and microwave, even a little dining table to eat at. The restaurant downstairs is goo...
There are a lot of big groups that stay at this hotel, so the checking in process is difficult. We were placed in a room that is undergoing "minor and non-disruptive" renovation, according to the front desk. However, we realized very quickly that there was MAJOR construction going on and the staff who checked us in should not have understated that. We did not come to W...
One thing you should note is that Wailea is the Beverly Hills of Maui, so the hotels, restaurants and facilities are generally more expensive than elsewhere in Maui. That said, Andaz was a real pleasure to stay in - comfortable room (I stayed in the 2 Queen Beds Makua room), beautiful resort surroundings, and very helpful staff. The staff were always ready to assist...
I really love this hotel and we have a wonderful vacation during our stay in Prince Waikiki. We will stay at this hotel again if we have a chance go back Oahu Hawaii.
Iwe went to hawaii for 3 nites. We spent 2 at sherton ad one at trump. we concluded that we should have just stayed at trump the whole trip. When we pulled up the staff greeted us with shell necklace, similar to lays(?) and waterelon infused water. From then on the staff front desk staff knew us by name and left a nice messege on our anwering machince coupled with ...
We loved our stay at this hotel. We booked a club room for the four of us - mum, dad, older son and teenage daughter. The club lounge package was good, at times it was very busy and it occasionally had to wait five to ten minutes for a table but could help ourselves to food and drink whilst waiting. As our daughter was over 16 we could use the adult infinity pool - aga...
this was my third time visiting hawaii and i think this hotel is much bettwr than the previous hotels. stayed for a week. its right next to a park and walking distance to the beach. my husbund and I loved every moment while we were staying there :) hotel made us a swan with a towel when we first got there. I will stay in the same hotel if I go to Hawaii again.
We were in Hawaii for 7 days and we loved every minute. The breakfast was basic and full of carbs. Fruit was offered but not sufficient. We were on holidays and we made do.
Hotel experience was great from check in to check out. We checked in around 8am after landing at 6:30am and stored our bags for us. When we returned at 11am the room was ready although check in was not until 2pm. Great hotel just to walk around, lots of things to see and do. Provided us beach towels. Step out of the hotel onto Waikiki beach and close to the wharf too. ...
I always stayed this hotel since many years ago almost everytime when I visit Hawaii and always felt warm services during my stay in Hawaii.
I booked a night here because I was in awe of the photos online of the hidden cave pool bar and the water slides I live on Oahu I wanted the pool experience mainly and to have a nice comfy room. The hotel staff was amazing I will say I really liked every single staff member I encountered everyone really showed Aloha from the Valet guys to the check in counter lady to ...
I am from Kauai and know almost every hotel on the island. Since opening in the early 1990's The Hyatt Poipu Beach has set the standard which all other hotels on the island strive to attain. From the moment you walk in the grand lobby you'll know what you're in for. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed and the staff are always friendly and helpful. ...
All in all a great big resort; however in some ways too big with required bracelets for the pool, queuing for towels and reservations required to get covered pool and beach seats. Napua Club more limited in selection and amenities than others we've been to and for the price, expected more. Almost full sized, great tropical scented bath products in the room.
I had booked in advance back in the end of March. Due to my flight last minute changes (not on my part.Thank you United for the headache) my family and I arrived a day late. I made sure to call ahead to notify the hotel that we would be coming late. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the lady's name whom I spoke to that day. But she assured me that our rooms will still be r...
My husband and I stayed at the same hotel two years ago. We booked the same hotel because we loved the experience here. However, compared to the previous visit, it was not that good. First of all, we booked the room with the city view, yet we could only see the construction site. Most of all, we really hated the elevators. There were three, but it seemed that only one ...
Stayed only for 1night (stopped over) to fly domestic... After coming from International 10hrs flight on Honeymoon - staff Katrina went the extra mile. She upgraded us to Partial Ocean View King, originally booked Standard King and sent us a bottle of champagne. Since it was our first time in Hawaii, she recommended where to go - shopping, dining & entertainment. Very ...
Our stay at the Hilo Seaside Hotel was pleasant. The room is big and overlooking the sea. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The only dislike we have was the hotel has no elevators. Moreover, the room does not have any wifi to access internet. We have to do it at the reception area. Overall, we will still recommend travellers to consider this h...
It was my first time in Hawaii and the staff were so helpful friendly and they make my holiday so comfortable. The location is perfect , I was in Room 608 it's central and close to everything. Facilities were clean as well. I will definitely stay there again for any further holidays to Hawaii. I will highly recommended it to ranimiez and friends as well. Thank you so ...
Hawaii was wonderful. The hotel staff helpful, upgraded us to a room with view of Waikiki without us even asking. The location was excellent for catching bus or walking to main features and restaurants. Will be visiting again!
Despite what we had read, the restaurant was excellent. We ate there at least once a day. Yes, it's more expensive than McDonald's, but it was reasonable for Hawaii! It was worth the price just to see the birds go after leftovers! :) Breakfast was on the high side but very delicious. Also, don't miss the ice cream shop next door.
The venue, location is perfect and its close to shops and only a short drive to restaurants and beaches. Located in (my opinion) the best part of the island as its close to a lot of the attractions to the island. The AC was a downer though because you rely on fans on all the time which I don't like while I sleep. You have to open the vents to let air in and then you ar...
My husband and I were very pleased with our nine night stay and would definitely stay again in the future especially if we were able to secure a package deal. The Hotel is in a perfect location and central to everything we needed during our stay. The Bus stop was less than a block away which is a great and cheap service to get around and even the whole Island. It is on...
it was great and agoda was looking kindly for us. first they make a mistake with the confirmation but after this they do all theyr best for giving us a new hotel - and they give us a really nice hotel. we were very happy that they look forward for us and done theyr best. we would chose agoda again. thanks for all agoda.
I read lots of conflicting reviews before booking this hotel, there are people who expect it to be like a large chain hotel. It is not. It is a charming boutique hotel. We really appreciated the contrast between this hotel and the large resorts we have been to on this holiday. It gave us the chance to cook a couple of meals ourselves in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. ...
Cheap places to stay in Hawaii
Placed not too far (25 min drive) from Hilo airport and downtown, in pristine rain forest environ with a brook bubbling right next to the property. Wonderful, beautiful natural beauty. Lots of flora, fauna, and birds to watch. We stayed at the Rain Forest Cabin with private drive and locked gate. Kitchen facilities good for camping type, and quite complete. No nee...
I loved staying here! The only people who shouldn't visit are people wanting a 5 star hotel! I made some amazing friends here and the area was perfect! The beach is right across the street and the staff is very friendly! I hope to go back soon!
All hostels in Hilo are overpriced but this one seemed the best deal for what it offered. A good location, lots of room, large rooms, functional kitchen. Staff was great too.
하와이에서만 느낄수 있는 숙소였습니다. 친절한 staff에 감동했고, 멋진 경치가 아주 좋습니다.
It was the cleanest place we had stayed while we were travelling in Hawaii. The location is great, the host is very helpful, the floor and the restroom are clean.... anyway, the place is very accommodating. We would like to go back someday but unfortunately we barely travel to the same place again. So.... we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone who plans to travel to ...
Was a lovely place to stay. I suggest you have a car if staying there
We come to the Sand Villa for our shortstop overs in Hawaii, for the usually great price and because of its courtesy room. This time however we didn't need to use it, as our flight was cancelled and changed carrier and so instead of arriving at 6.30am we got in at 10.30am and were so surprised that they already had our room ready for us. Such a wonderful greeting after...
I spent my first night in oahu at the Ewa hotel. reception staff was lovely, room was spacious and clean and the location is great, just a few metres from the beach. The hotel was fully booked for the rest of the week and I couldnt stay any additional nights but I highly recommend this hotel. good value for money, you get everything you need for a wonderful holiday in ...
I book this hotel very long time ago as there is promotion but i really don't know this is a good choice, there are many comment on the internet and what i worry is the bed bud, insert in the room........ when i arrive, the lobby is very nice, bright and clean, no problem of it, staff is nice. when i get into my room, i have a "WOW" feeling, never have that feeling. ...
As this is not a hotel you will have to rely on the owner who is consistently late, aggressive and rude. We accidentally mixed up the dates and thought we were staying another day. We needed to check out at 11, the time specified on the booking. The owner was infuriated by this and threatened to charge another day to my credit card if we did. He also tried to pressure ...
it is my first time in Hawaii. I just searched via Agoda for this hotel. I came in to this hotel after a business conference and extended few days for vacation. Location wise - its just few minutes walk to all the major spots, the Waikiki beach, the International Market, Luxury row. It also has a shuttle that is part of the resort fee that can bring you to Ala Moana - ...
loved the atmosphere
I didn't realize that the Douglas Waikiki was the Royal Kuhio Hotel now being operated more like an AirBNB type of condo rental. But we had a nice stay and enjoyed using the kitchen to prepare meals.
Is clean, think they are really full on about that.
Hotel Renew is a nice little boutique hotel situated at the western end of the Waikiki beach strip, but still ideally situated for beach, shopping and dining action. It has modern amenities which is a refreshing break from other hotels that still seem to retain tacky '80 decor (which i think is rife throughout Hawaii). Acceptable breakfast of pastries and fruits and ...
We were doing the Sunrise Lava boat tour and booked for just one night. The house was great, the setting fantastic. The owner was super helpful especially given it was a last minute booking. We got back and had an amazing run along the picturesque road the house is on. The Sunrise Lava tour on the boat Lava 1 was simply mindblowing. Lava 1 is the big boat and they cert...
It was a nice stay and all staff are friendly. And the room condition is quite nice. The location of this hotel is really good. Walk distance to Waikiki beach By the way, we paid 50 dollars for a deposit on 12th. But it isn’t cancelled yet. Please check it for us. Thanks a lot. Wish I could go to Hawaii again and stay at your hotel again!
Very clean Comfy bed Great internet Warm hospitality Cons: frogs are noisy at night (bring ear plugs if it bothers you). Tv reception isn’t great, so bring a book.
Recommend, and would stay again! Great location with access to a quiet beach area just a short walk down the road. Comfortable, air conditioned, hot water, all the goods. Aloha!
nice hotel crew( specially one of the crew named Les, offer suggestions for what to do in Hawaii) perfect location with acceptable price. Just across Hilton Village, walking distance to waikiki beach. Good wifi connection in room! GREAT hotel with limited budget!
This is home run house, feel like living at home, very nice garden/bbq/ living area. there is a pool table in the living room. everything is self serve. very quite free in the place. the owner is not always around, you feel very relaxing. The owner is very kind and he gives you everything and information you need. Best accommodation experience I had in the entire Hawai...
I recently visited Hawaii and stayed at the Kuhio Banyan. Upon arrival the staff was very courteous and helpful. A day into my stay I had a problem with my room and it was quickly addressed and resolved. The hotel itself is a little run-down, but it is an older establishment. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I loved the room. It was charming and spacious...
Location is fantastic. Close to everything. Our room had everything we needed. We had a room with kitchenette, so stocked up on breakfast staples to save money. For the price and its star rating, this hotel, is great value. Our room was on the same floor as the bar, but situated on the opposite side of the building,so noise was not an issue. Only negative would be that...

Nothing fancy, small family run hotel very close to the airport. Noise wasn’t a problem, I had a very quiet room. I was also right next to the pool. If you take their shuttle, it only stops at one place and that is outside baggage claim 20. Someone else tried to flag it down but it isn’t allowed to stop but at one place. If you call the hotel, they are happy to assist ...

Looks like a work in progress, inside and out. Kinda’ sad looking overall. Too bad for such a good location. Bed and pillows were super cheap and uncomfortable. Bathroom door is a slider that is falling apart and barely works. However, the towels were okay, better than some other places even. Internet was offered in price, but check in girl failed to tell us the...

The pool grounds are lovely but some of the staff working there are miserable and will treat you like dirt unless your handing over money or a tip for something, be prepared to just be another tourist they have no time for unless there's something in it for them. We stayed with a 1 year old and coming from Aus and travelling around alot its hard to always have fresh c...
The hotel may seem a little aged from the outside, however on the inside it's very well maintained. The pool area is great and has water-sports rental kiosk right there. Dukes and Hula Grill offer amazing food, and drinks. Very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
This hotel is a bit far from Waikiki Beach, but they have nice pools and their own beaches so it is very nice to enjoy the hotel itself. They have various restaurant and close to the shopping center. Best hotel to stay in Hawaii!
Shoreline Hotel was our family's base for 7 nights in October 2018. We booked 3 rooms which worked out a little dear compared to my last trip to Hawaii back in 2015, but Waikiki has become more high-end. Highlights are the staff and the location. The hotel is literally opposite Ross and just 100meters down from the main strip of Waikiki. The staff, even before entering...
Having sorted through dozens of outdated hotels in Hawaii, it was such a gem to find Hyatt Centric being so modern, stylish and central to shops and restaurants. I honestly can't fault it, only thing that I wish they had was a deeper swimming pool area for the people that wanted a swim. Other than that, staff was wonderful, facilities and room was clean and spacious. L...
We wanted a quiet get away in the rainforest of Hawaii. We also wanted to spend time at the volcanoes, so we decided on Hilo. The Grand Naniloa was perfect for us, it was quiet and we had a beautiful view of the bay and volcanoes. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was too cold when we were there to swim, but we had an awesome time hiking the waterfalls ...
I stayed in the HGV lagoon tower with my family - husband & boys -12 & 14. we had an amazing view and the 1 bedroom condo was nice but seemed like it could use a facelift. Our bed in the bedroom was comfortable, but the pull out couch was uncomfortable for the boys. I did love having the laundry room on each floor for the guests - that came in handy. We struggled a l...
Having lived in Honolulu for over 14 years, we were aware of this "hidden" treasure for years. My family has stayed there since we moved from Oahu 20 years ago so we have a very long history. The hotel isn't fancy but the rooms are lovely, with many of the rooms overlooking the ocean and Waikiki. The staff......they have been there for 10-20- 30 years because, accordi...
Was warmly welcomed by reception and booked in smootly. No porters to hassle you which was to our liking. Reception staff very obliging in meeting our needs. Hotel itself, although appears to be old, was very comfortable and would not hesitate in staying there again next time in Waikiki.Thouroughly recommed to others wishing to stay there.
Had booking hassles and was overcharged by hotel but once fixed holiday was great. First room offerred backed on lift so we got a double sized bed not a king like we purchased. Second night that was fixed with a great apt with a sea view. Buffet breakfast is great. Afternoon drinks are great and surf at waikiki was ok in a longboard. All up good times in waikiki
Great property but pricey.
5 Stars on everything I can think of. If there was one thing i would have liked, it's 24 hour room service. Other than that - SUPER!!!
This place is the best hotel to stay in Hawaii! Love the staff and the amenities. Received a champagne for our honeymoon!
Seems like it hasn’t had a renovation in years. Our room was a very long walk away from the main building and backed on to an alley full of rubbish and portaloos. The actual pool area etc was nice and the beach was lovely but definitely not a 4 star.
Nice Property . Its older but has been renovated over time . Air Conditioner was very noisey and only a small window unit in the bedroom . Not ideal . Cleaning only once a week . Carpet had some staining . Checkout is 10 am which is very early especially for a holiday/resort type property. Layout and size of room was good .room/ Kitchenette was well stocked . Sta...
I loved how exciting it was to be in this hotel but i could not do everything. There is so much to experience on these hotel grounds. This is something very rare. I can't say enough about this h...

Location was great, private beach access for few nearby resorts, including this one. It is a condo type setting where they provide you with beach chairs, ice boxes, bbq grill, cutlery, and all other utensils you can think of. Weather on this side is typically partly cloudy from what we observed. It rains less than some other parts of the island (it rains most in Hana)....

The hotel is right across the road from the beach with beach towels available in room. Bus stops are located directly across the road, very helpful for getting around on a budget. We enjoyed everything about Hotel Wailea. So many times, I've been enticed by beautiful pictures on a hotel's website, only to arrive and find the photographer had plied their craft to mislead me. This was the first time I've felt the pictures understated the real experience. It really is a gorgeous hotel and much of the time we felt like we had it all to ourselves....
When we got there, we were greeted with friendly staff who checked us in earlier than usual and accommodated my friend's late checkout. However, things started to go downhill from there. We were told that The Royal Hawaiian customers are allowed to use next hotel Sheraton hotel pools so knowing that they have infinity pool we decide to go there and check it out. We g...
It was nice to end our three weeks in Hawaii. We traveled around a bit and decided to end our trip in a resort and Kahala was definitely not a wrong choice !! Staffs were very attentive to our son and been great help with some issues I had with package delivery. Having sea animals on site was a great plus for my two year old son. Looking forward to be back in Kahala. ...
Excellent! We read many good things that's why we booked it. It was even better than what we expected!
The location and facilities of Halekulani Hotel are fantastic, but it is the staff that really make this hotel stand out. They genuinely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much bother for them. Very different from other upmarket US hotels where the service is good but with fake smiles and the same routine questions and responses. I loved ...
The pool ,beach and sunset all are excellent. We had a wonderful honeymoon memory there. If you like golf, they have a good golf course.
Each and every staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel will be demolished on 30th June yet everyone was business as usual, no impact to their day to day service. The hotel is quite old yet very clean, had no issues. I am Definitely going back to Hawaii because of the amazing people, i would even want to live there given the chance. Please commend the ...
very nice room
My daughter and I had a lovely, restful stay. ALL of the employees were friendly, competent, and well trained. The food was delicious and more than plentiful. We learned to scale down our in room orders so as to not waste it. You REALLY do get what you pay for!!!
