I liked my stay here. Amiable front staff and morning cleaning lady, though interacted only briefly. The room is as basic as can be, a futon, a pillow, a blanket, small closet space, and windows that have a view. It does have a tv but I didn’t use it. The hallways are dimly lit, the bathrooms aint that clean (perhaps this is due to age but also really due to people that use it, not the problem of the cleaners). There is a limited window to use the bath shower area divided into men and women, I went to the nearby sento which is contemporary and fun, instead of waiting. I would stay again, but others may not be as minimal and hardcore like me.
the hotel seems to be very old and i read some of previous reviews that it is one of the oldest building in osaka at first it feels a bit creepy because of the ambiance, lights in the aisle and the building structure itself but i didn’t feel anything, just comfortable inside in my own room having all of the space with my stuffs in my first night, i terribly experienced cold from whole day trip with my friend and messaged the staff if by any chance they have a heater, unfortunately their hotel doesn’t have one and i regretted booking the hotel and forgot to check the heater inclusion but instead the staff gave me an extra blanket and i almost want to transfer to another hotel to feel at ease even i’ll leave my things just to have a good sleep from the very cold room and even found cheaper and nicer hotel good for my stays but thankfully i managed to cover myself with the thick blankets and winter jackets to fight the weather and i had a good sleep afterwards during my 4 nights of stay, i adjusted the coldness of the room and i can still recommend the hotel for budget and solo traveller even the building is old and the bath time is not giving and the toilet areas are dirty and it is just 1-2 minutes away from nearest station
This was my second visit. I met a gentleman who seemed like the owner and a guy in his 30s to 40s among the staff, and I think both of them are good-natured and friendly. I booked a two-night stay on Agoda and then reserved one night on the Park Inn website overlapping with the checkout date. When I informed the reception about this, they kindly said it was fine to stay in the same room for consecutive nights since both reservations have air conditioning. The hotel is a bit shabby, but the cleaning seems thorough. The bedding was also spotlessly white. I stayed during the peak summer (without air conditioning, just a fan) and peak winter (with air conditioning), but I didn't encounter any insects. I think I was lucky during the summer. The front desk has a microwave, chopsticks, an electric kettle, and a shared refrigerator for meal preparation. In the room, there are futons, yukatas, a television, and two power outlets, including one for the TV. It would be convenient to bring a power strip. Each floor has a washroom and toilet. I was fine, but I think everyone can use it if they think, "This is the only toilet available in Japan," haha. It feels a bit like a park. Since there are many birds flying around, I recommend not opening the windows in the room. I appreciate having a bath, but it seems there’s no cleaning between the male and female uses, so there were various things floating in the water, and short hairs scattered in the changing room. There is one hairdryer and three showers. After the other two finished showering and I was alone, the hot water stopped and even after switching to another shower, only cold water came out, so I had no choice but to shower with cold water in mid-winter and get out quickly. I recommend the nearby Hinode-yu, which has cosmetic effects and costs 520 yen! I would like the hotel to improve the following two points regarding the bath: - The phenomenon of the hot water stopping. - I would like the changing room vacuumed between male and female bath times.
I think it's really great. The grandpa who welcomed us was very enthusiastic, and for poor students, the price is very affordable. The location is also easy to find; it's just a short walk from the Shin-Imamiya station. As long as we behave and sleep well at night, there won't be any danger. Those who say it's dangerous probably didn't return to the hotel until late. Although the room doesn't have air conditioning, opening the window and turning on the fan keeps the air flowing, making it much cooler than outside. The room is actually quite large; it just doesn't look that great in photos. From a personal perspective, the room has a smell of wood, just like my grandparents' house, which carries a lot of affection. The bedding is washed clean, so sleeping is just fine. If you come for tourism, you can't stay in the hotel all the time; you just need to sleep there at night, which is actually quite good.

“For those who want to stay at a low price, anyway.”
I stayed for one night in mid-July. The facility itself is old, and the lobby and hallways feel a bit dim, which might make it slightly uncomfortable for women to stay. The bath and toilet are shared. They are separated by time for men and women, but the women's time slot is only one hour, so a little caution is needed. (I think this is likely because there are fewer female guests.) However, showers can be used at any time, so I utilized them during the late hours. The bedding had clean covers, and the air conditioning worked well, allowing for a comfortable sleep. The room was small, so it was almost too effective. The tatami mats were new, so I was able to smell the lovely fragrance of fresh tatami after a long time. However, the room had a smell of cigarette smoke. The room was quiet. The staff at the front desk were friendly, and the location is not bad. There is a subway station and a long shopping street just a short walk away, so shopping and dining are not an issue. Although it is old, it has a charming shopping street. If you want to stay cheaply and don't mind a little age, I would recommend it.
