Easy Access to Shopping District, Peace Monument and Museum”
This is a great hotel. I had no trouble walking to the historic landmarks of the city. Its location also offered a multitude of restaurants, izakayas and shops.

Oriental Hotel Hiroshima, was a very good hotel, it gives a you a good security and easy access to places around it, best value for tourist who wants to explore the Hiroshima area and very close to the stations and good view of the city. so many bars and restaurant to see near the hotel area. the hotel has a very unique atmostphere and very cousy.the mitsuki restaurant gives you the sense of japanese style dining with delicious choices of foods and besides that theres also three other choices such as New York Cafe, French Restaurant and modern Italian.

Best Hotel we stayed at in Japan!”
What can we say other than that the Oriental Hotel was the best place that we stayed at in Japan. From the momemt we walked into the hotel any request we made was never a problem. The rooms were the largest for any city hotel that we had stayed in and we had a great view looking over the city lights. The Oriental is a beautiful new modern hotel and one that we would recommend anyone to stay at for their trip to Hiroshima. You are in walking distance to all the main sights and shopping precints. It is a fabulous place!

Very pleasant with astonishing views”
The hotel is conveniently located close to both the station and city center as well as tourists’ spots like Hijiyama Park, Hiroshima castle or Peace Memorial. All in walking distance. Views from the rooms are outstanding if you get a higher flor. Standard double room is big (for Japanese standard), so is the bathroom. And it is really cheap especially comparing to Tokyo or Osaka prices. Really nothing to complain about even if apart from the view there is also nothing “wow” about it. And you got a smartphone with city map, guide and Internet access in every room for free during your stay (you can take it outside of course). Great value for the price! I intend to come back to Hiroshima for some more time and I’m pretty sure I won’t look for next accommodation much further.

Beautiful Hotel on Peace Memorial Street”
While the hotel isn't particularly close to the Train Station (take the No.50 bus - don't walk!) there's nothing near the Station other than the Baseball Stadium (but I recommend you see a baseball game, it was brilliant and I'm not even a fan of baseball!) so you're better off staying near the Peace Memorial Museum and the Oriental Hotel Hiroshima is both close to this and the town, making it an ideal place to stay!

I had an excellent stay at the Oriental in Hiroshima. The staff is extremely service-oriented, this even by the high standards of Japan. The room was very comfortable. Te locations is fantastic. The breakfast buffet is abundant and at a decent cost. Overall, this is a great value-for-money hotel.

just what i expect from a hotel”
for my whole stay in japan, this hotel deserves the top rank for a budget to midrange hotel. the room is not too crowded. just what i expect from a hotel. best value for money. also, the only hotel that confirm my online booking and reserve a non-smoking room for me through e-mail. also has a good access in the major tourist spots in hiroshima. just within 1km distance to hiroshima station, peace memorial park, chuo park, shukkeien, and hiroshima castle.

Lovely Hotel”
This hotel was one of my favourites in Japan. The room was big enough for two and had a great view of the city and mountain region. Hiroshima is a beautiful city and the location of this hotel provided access to all the necessary hot spots. The hotel itself was quite chic and had nice products in the bathroom. The room service was prompt and the cocktail bar was quite amazing to watch the barman making drinks so skilfully and with such a passion. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I went back to Hiroshima.

Comfortable stay ”
The hotel was comfortable - beds, baths and the staff was very welcoming. It felt more like a business hotel. They don’t get too many backpackers like us. It was probably one of the more refined spaces we have stayed in. We booked a small room but when we checked in they had the option to upgrade to a bigger room so we did we got the 2 double with more space. It only cost ¥1000 JPY for the upgrade. We should have extended our stay there as the next place we stayed was not as impressive. We had to take a taxi to and from the Hiroshima station, but the hotel was walkable to the downtown area specifically the Okonomi-mura and the Peace park. Hiroshima is such a peaceful town I wish I stayed a little bit more time to enjoy.

The Oriental Hotel Hiroshima was in a perfect location to stroll to the Peace Gardens, A Bomb shrine and the Castle. Restaurants and bars of all descriptions are all located in the back streets. Staff were most helpful and courteous.

Great location and aesthetics.”
Overall, the Oriental Hotel was good value for its price. We were able to walk most places we wanted to go (Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum, Hondori shopping street), and take taxis if we needed to go farther. We didn't use the hotel's bar or restaurant, but it's situated very close to lots of nightlife and restaurant options. There's even a convenience store right behind it, and a liquor store down the street. Our room was small and the bathroom was tiny, but that's pretty normal in Japan. Most of the hotel is quite nicely decorated and has a modern feel. The bed was comfortable, no problems with the air conditioning.

We visited Hiroshima for the first time, and found hotel Oriental mainly due to net reviews. we were very happy with the hotel and the helpful staff. Location could have been better for us who prefer public transportation, as the nearest streetcar stop is several blocks away. Walking there gives an insight on the many attractions of the entertainment district. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. Smoking is not allowed in the lobby and library areas.

Excellent hotel!! First class!!”
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Oriental. Our room was first class as was the service. Yes, we may have had to drag our luggage from hiroshima station, but the hotel's location was perfect for visiting the memorial peace park and all the restaurants and shopping in the area. We even played ten pin bowling! We had cocktails in the bar which had a really nice selection better than your ordinary bar. The buffet breakfast had a nice mix of both japanese and western styles. Thanks for a great stay!
