Hotels near Nishinakajima-Minamigata Subway Station

Pros 1. Decent value for money 2. Good size for a triple room (has space for even a Sofa in the middle) 3. Very good location, only a few hundred meters to Shin-Osaka Station and also subway station - good if you have loads of luggage with you. But note there are other slightly nearer hotels to the station even. But you need to know how to exit to make best use of the shortest distance from station to hotel and vice-versa. in my opinion, get out by the JR central exit of the Shin-Osaka station. 4, Hotel is new and everything looks great 5. Free smartphone (if you are into that sort of thing) 6. Decent breakfast (although the spread could have been better)...but note that Osaka station has loads of options for food if you don't have breakfast included. 7. Decent size bathroom/tub (for my triple room, which comes with separate WC) Cons None really (for the price I paid)

The room rate is relatively cheap despite the location of the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from JR train station “Shin-Osaka” and about 1 minutes walk from subway station. It is very convenient getting around to the nearby city such as Kyoto and Nara. Getting to the hotel is quite easily as there are express train services ”Haruka” between Kansai airport and Shin-Osaka station. There are also some souvenir store, convenient stall, and restaurant in the JR station. There is also free Osaka map available at the hotel lobby with the train map and recommended places to visit. The hotel does not provide Wifi service but they do have cable connection in the room.

A very good hotel to stay when travelers need to go to other cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima etc. as it is just next to Shin Osaka station, though it is out of the main Osaka Subway Loop. It is a very busy station but you can find everything here from convenient food to spare socks to buy when it is blazing summer day. The room is great, colorful, very current and contemporary feeling with great bed. There are plenty supplies of bathroom shampoos etc. There is no lingering smell of second hand smokes. The room also comes with a 'handy' mobile so that you can call locally and browse hotel services. It is next to main railway station and by the freeway, therefore light sleepers can hear the rambling of morning trains and traffics. The front office lady who checked me in was really helpful and efficient making it a fast check in. I recommend this special hotel anytime.

This hotel is very new and it shows by its modern design and overwhelming "cleanness". The hotel is actually connected to the Shin-Osaka station. The lobby is on the 12F while the rooms are from 14F to 17F if my memories are correct. The design of the rooms are something you have to see for yourself as it is one of the best I've seen for a room in this price range. The showers are great as the water can come from the top or from the hand-held hose. All rooms have WiFi and a safe, I think the only minor complaint I have is the fridge is way too small, even for Japanese standards. The breakfast is a choice for 4 sets with a buffet salad bar. A warning though, Shin-Osaka (the area) has almost nothing in terms of sightseeing. You need to take the subway to Namba station for example for some entertainment. The place is absolutely dead after like 8pm. If you are here for business then it's basically perfect.

location of the hotel just only 10 minutes walk from Shin Osaka jr and subway station. or 5 minutes from subway nishinakajima minamigata or hankyu minamikata station to Kyoto and Kobe. altough the room so small but is very clean. staff also very cooperative and helpfull. there is alot of convinience store and supermarket around the hotel. also restourant and cafe. airport limousine bus to Kansai airport located in front of hankyu hotel next to Shin Osaka station

the room is located just 1-2 mins walking from Nishinakajima Minamigata subway station. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and fast. Staff was attentive. Given the room sizes in Japan, the room was small but surprisingly very well arranged and had all the facilities that you can possible think of or want to use. Definitely will recommend for people to stay here. Its extremely good for the price we paid.

conveniently located next to shin osaka station, with the subway line only 2 mins walk away. great for travelling via shinkansen (about 5 mins walk), JR or subway lines via exit 6 or 7. hotel room was clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities. hotel staff was friendly and able to address all my questions. there is also a family mart next to the hotel. would definitely recommend especially if you are looking at staying near the shin osaka station.

First, the hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance from the Shin-Osaka station - the biggest transportation hub in the Kansai area - which means you can get anywhere you want quickly. It does mean though that you will hear train noise (As for me I sleep like a log so I didn't mind but maybe it'll be a problem for others). The lobby looks incredibly luxurious and has two or three (don't remember) restaurants inside. The rooms however are standard 3-star grade. This is still more than enough if you use the hotel mainly for bed and shower. The price was great, though it was a last minute booking so I don't know what the usual prices are. Staff are friendly and they try to have at least one decent English-speaking employee at the front desk at all times. One annoying thing is that removing the key from the slot near the door shuts-down all electricity, so can't charge the laptop while away. Overall it's a great hotel when traveling in Osaka. Check them out if you're around.

the hotel gave me a one-bed room but it was super big. i was impressed by the room arrangement and i love it. the sight view was wonderful from the room as well. the hotel staff was very helpful when i checked-out about half an hour late than the rule states. they did not charge me for that late. meanwhile,hotel lcoates nearby shin osaka railway station where you can take shinkansen，and shin osaka subway station.

I have so many great things to say about this hotel. First off the staff was so very nice to us, I had many questions and requests upon my arrival and they obliged me. They were super easy going and sweet and even did me a big favor. The room was very small, however it was extremely clean and modern. They did their best to make me and my friends comfortable. I will be returning to this hotel in the future as a solo traveller. The location is close to the Shin-Osaka station which was extremely convenient, and there were many great shops nearby the hotel. There was even a convenience store directly outside. Definitely an amazing place.

I stayed here for four nights in a double room with my father. Previous comments have all stated that the rooms were small, but I didn't find that to be a problem at all. Honestly, it's a Japanese hotel room. I would agree that the hotel was a bit difficult to find at first, but the train station attendant at the Shin-Osaka train station had a map and the hotel was easily marked on her map. The hotel itself is indeed closer to the Minamigata subway station, but the Minamigata station also has a local JR line that goes up to Kyoto (takes about an hour, and it's only 320 yen vs. 540 yen from Shin-Osaka on the rapid JR trains). It is about a 15-20 min walk from the Shin-Osaka station. The street you walk on has plenty of local eateries and convenience stores and since you are in Japan, it's really not dangerous whatsoever. Others that stayed at the hotel hated the pillow, but we found that if you flipped the pillow on the other non-beaded side, they were perfectly fine and acceptable. I slept comfortably every night because we spent so much time sightseeing and walking around both Osaka and Kyoto. It was definitely a good convenient "home base" for us and our sightseeing. I have now stayed at 3 Japanese hotels and this was just as nice if not nicer than all the others. The ONLY negative I can think of about this hotel is the train tracks. If you can, try to get a room on the side without the train unless you can tolerate it. The train woke us up every morning because you can hear at least 1 or 2 track crossings from the hotel room.

Take the North exit and it's about 8 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is newly built, modern and high tech. There are two pools in the public bath - outdoor and indoor. I enjoyed free massage chair and Dyson hair dryer. Room is standard Japanese size but very comfortable. Free soba noodle provided from 9-11pm. You can also choose your breakfast - buffet or room service I believe but I always choose buffet so I can try all the local food. If you don't want to stay downtown Osaka and look for a quieter place close to the station, this is the one. I have travelled extensively in Japan and stayed at many different hotel chains. This is a barging for what you pay for. Front desk staff speak decent English and they were all friendly! I will return to this place if I fly in or out of Osaka again.

I planned on doing day trips from Osaka on the JR Trains and this hotel was in a great location for that, about 3 blocks from the Shin-Osaka station. There a many restaurants as well as supermarkets nearby. NIce having laundry facility on-site. Rooms are a bit small, but for the price I can't complain. It is a bit further from the top attractions of Osaka like Dotomburi, Namba areas, but still easily enough to get to on the metro train
