"Pros 1. Decent value for money 2. Good size for a triple room (has space for even a Sofa in the middle) 3. Very good location, only a few hundred meters to Shin-Osaka Station and also subway station - good if you have loads of luggage with you. But note there are other slightly nearer hotels to the station even. But you need to know how to exit to make best use of the shortest distance from station to hotel and vice-versa. in my opinion, get out by the JR central exit of the Shin-Osaka station. 4, Hotel is new and everything looks great 5. Free smartphone (if you are into that sort of thing) 6. Decent breakfast (although the spread could have been better)...but note that Osaka station has loads of options for food if you don't have breakfast included. 7. Decent size bathroom/tub (for my triple room, which comes with separate WC) Cons None really (for the price I paid)"

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a budget and would like a comfortable place to crash when taking a rest. The rooms may be on the small side for some, but my companion and I fit fine and we are respectively 5'8 and 6'3. Despite the language barrier, the staff were extremely helpful and will to work with us despite the circumstances. If you know basic Japanese, you will be fine. The staff even provided us with a map showing local needs in the area [coin laundry, ATMs, etc.] Breakfast in the lower cafe is divine with a mix of western and traditional fare buffet style. All servers were prompt to get you what you need and keep the food stocked. I have not tried their skyline dining, nor their snack lounge but they are available. All in all, if you're looking for a comfortable place to crash without all the fuss; this is it. They refurbished the entire hotel and it's top notch for those with a tight pocket book. "

"I found Karaksa the best choice hotel for location that is near to Shin Osaka which has JR, Metro and Shinkansen and lots of restaurants. It took abt 5-8 min to walk to station. Staff are helpful and very nice. They delivered our luggage to the room already when we got back to the hotel at 9pm in the first night. The room has everything even more than we expected - a small sofa, a bath tub, pajamas (compared to what we heard about hotels in Japan). Beds are comfy two pillows (hard and soft). Shower was strong and we can put two (one big and one small) luggages in the room. Lawson downstair- u dont need to go out of the building and public bath which is very clean and not crowded. Room is also clean. The building is new and well designed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Fyi that I had two beds standard room. "

"I have so many great things to say about this hotel. First off the staff was so very nice to us, I had many questions and requests upon my arrival and they obliged me. They were super easy going and sweet and even did me a big favor. The room was very small, however it was extremely clean and modern. They did their best to make me and my friends comfortable. I will be returning to this hotel in the future as a solo traveller. The location is close to the Shin-Osaka station which was extremely convenient, and there were many great shops nearby the hotel. There was even a convenience store directly outside. Definitely an amazing place."

There a many restaurants as well as supermarkets nearby. NIce having laundry facility on-site. Rooms are a bit small, but for the price I can't complain.
