I made a reservation to go to the Osaka Kansai Expo. First of all, the location right at the top of Nagata Station is excellent! No transfers needed from Yumesu, where the expo venue is located. Additionally, having a large public bath is a big plus. After a tiring day, being able to stretch out and soak comfortably in the bath is the best. The amenities were also sufficient. The prices of the drink vending machines were reasonable. The drink service next to the front desk offered hojicha, mugicha, yuzu tea, and black tea... having both hot and cold options was helpful during the hot season. The room had a large window and was bright, and I believe the cleaning was thorough. The cleaning staff greeted me when we passed in the hallway. The front desk staff were very polite and had gentle smiles. Higashi-Osaka is famous for rugby, and there were creative rugby displays throughout the hotel done by the staff... I felt their passionate dedication. The room key was very cute. Breakfast included Osaka dishes like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu. I definitely want to visit this hotel again when I do more sightseeing in Osaka.

I used this hotel as accommodation for the Expo. The last time I went to the Expo, I ended up walking quite a bit from Hommachi, and it was quite expensive, a totally lifeless "just for sleeping" accommodation, so this time I did a thorough search. Hotel Wing has an unbeatable location. It's just one train ride from Yumeshima to Nagata Station, and the hotel is right there as soon as you exit the station. Not only is there a convenience store, but also a Life supermarket and Sugidrug right in front, which is incredibly convenient. The large public bath is clean, the rooms are well-maintained, and above all, the three receptionists are friendly, smiling, and very kind, which makes the exhaustion from walking at the Expo vanish. If I were to look for a downside, maybe the refrigerator was a bit noisy (but that might be the case for any hotel). I used it for the first time, but I would like to stay here again whenever I have business in Osaka, even if it's not for the Expo.
I would say the location of this hotel is a bit far from the center of Osaka, but the convenience of having a metro station right in front of the hotel lobby makes up for it! There’s also a large supermarket nearby where you can find almost everything, including food for late-night snacks. Not to mention, there's a Lawson convenience store just a short walk away, open 24/7. My experience started at check-in. I arrived quite early and wasn’t able to get an early check-in (which is understandable). However, you can still relax in the nice lobby while waiting. The room was small, but if you’ve been to Japan a few times, you’ll know that hotels (and even houses) tend to be compact. Despite that, the room was still comfortable and breathable. The water pressure was good, and the hot water worked perfectly. I really liked that they have a coin-operated laundry. If you stay for an extended period, it’s very convenient to use the machines. The amenities and checkout process were super smooth. I’ve already recommended this hotel to some of my colleagues and friends, and I hope to enjoy more stays at Wing International Hotels in other locations.

Breakfast was as good as the reviews said, featuring Osaka cuisine along with fruits and sweets. The bed was not a semi-double but rather double or larger, and there were two types of pillows to choose from. There is a large supermarket nearby. Check-out was relaxed, and there was a post office close by, making it easy to return the rental Wi-Fi, which made my stay more comfortable than expected. The bathing area had a bubble bath, which made my skin feel smooth. My fatigue eased. It was a comfortable hotel with a sense of local pride, created based on research into the feelings of the guests, and it was worth more than the price. The parking lot is a bit far away, but it's understandable because it's in front of the station. The bathroom was small, so only three people could use the sinks, and during busy times, multiple people had to wait. The lockers were also crowded, so comfort greatly varied depending on whether users were considerate or not. That said, overall, I highly recommend it for a longer stay.

I have been visiting my family who is receiving medical treatment almost every week since the end of June, and my last stay was a multi-night stay with them. My mode of transportation was by car every time, so I utilized the affiliated parking lot, which was a very helpful system. While I did not travel by train, it seems that the metro and Kintetsu lines are available, and while it is a bit far from the center of Osaka, I believe it is easy to move around. The location is very convenient as it is right by the station, making it very practical even in bad weather. The staff were all friendly and lent me a cart, accommodating my unexpected requests for belongings, which I appreciated. The room was clean, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. Across the street, there were convenience stores and supermarkets, along with a different chain convenience store and a post office nearby, which was convenient. There was a welcome drink (free for guests, with refills available), newspapers, and various amenities. There was a coffee maker in the room, and I enjoyed the coffee. With a breakfast plan... the dessert (pudding) seemed to be popular and ran out around 8:30 (no additional servings appeared to be available). There were Japanese dishes, Osaka specialties (okonomiyaki, takoyaki... akashiyaki), bread, flakes, salad, curry, fruits, yogurt, ham & bacon, egg dishes, various cold drinks, hot coffee, tea, milk... etc. It was abundant (the button for cold and sparkling water was a bit difficult to understand). As for drawbacks, the cooling efficiency of the refrigerator varied by room; in my room, it was not cold enough, and the ice cream turned to water (it could not be eaten unless it was in a container like shaved ice, etc.). In my family's room, it was too cold, and the bottled beverages were frozen. There was a police box across the street, and it seemed to be constantly patrolling. Since it is right next to a busy road like the expressway and central avenue, there were always sounds from speeding cars and police sirens, making it noisy both during the day and at night. When groups of foreign guests came and went, they would talk loudly in the hallway or lobby, which was occasionally bothersome (I think it would be good to announce during check-in or in the elevator that private conversations are prohibited in public areas). If there is an opportunity to come again, I would like to use this place again.
