We stayed 2 nights. We chose the hotel because of the location. There are huge train stations near the hotel, it was very convenient for travelling to the city centre and near by cities also. We only stayed at night after a full day of sightseeing, so didn’t have much time to look around all the facilities. We had breakfast at the cafe in the lobby for 2 days, food was ok, nothing special. Housekeeping was fine and I loved the bed it was very comfortable, we both had good night sleeps, helped us in good condition for the next day. The location is kind of hard to find but we usually used taxi so no problem with that. It’s perfect for travellers who want to stay in a decent hotel but not looking for luxuries. Overall I’m satisfied.

Location: The hotel is located just behind the corner of one of the busiest areas in Osaka. It's totally convenient to travel from Osaka Station and Osaka Umeda Station. You can't get hungry as there are uncountable food shops you can rely on. Although the hotel is not just right above the train station, the great point is it's not that loud and busy around the hotel so you still can enjoy the silence nights despite of 5 minutes away from there. Services: Although the staffs are not that fluent in English, but they were as very helpful as they can be. Rooms: Very clean, no suspicious smell. The warm water temperature and pressure was steady. Spacious room for 1 person with wide-enough round table for working (with good free wifi) and space for a large opened luggage. The beddings were also clean, although the pillows were not at my best comfort but in overall comfortable enough.

I have emailed this hotel 2 weeks prior my arrival date, yet received no reply. Although been to Japan before and learned some Japanese before, saw others reviews was really expecting better communication in English but not really. Would strongly recommend the hotel to send out clear English instruction how to walk from Osaka JR main station etc, knew it was close by, but with a kid we walked about 20mins looking at Google map.... and walked inside and outside the mall just could get there within 10mins. I'd say our 4 days 3 nights went well, pretty satisfied with their breakfast, cleanliness, comfort level of the bed and bathtub. The only thing was inflexibility in explaining in English, and the communication is based on your cellphone translation, and the easiest thing probably took 20mins having 2 staffs told me literally the same thing. Basically it was a simple request for the hotel to arrange a ride to drop us off at the nearby airport shuttle bus station. First they told me no, then they told me they will charge me 1000 yen, I asked why would the hotel charge such fee should it be a complimentary service offered to the customers？ Then started the Google translation back and forth for about 15 to 20mins, then told me they don't charge that fee, the taxi company will be the one that takes the money. It finally made sense, after I filled in the hardcopy form and send in my request, it stated 1000yen plus extra handling fee plus travel fee, I'm like its just a 5mins drive to the Hotel Hankyu, why does it sound like so expensive. Therefore, after tried to talk to the staffs, I explained to them mostly in English and some in my minimal Japanese, they finally understood my point and I said they should update this form as it looks very confusing and misleading. It turned out the taxi ride to the Hotel Kankyu ride is 800 Yen for those that needs the service （suitable when travel with elders and kids） At last thanks again to the staffs for bearing with my minimal Japanese, and definitely recommend to hire more people that are fluent in English speaking would be greatly appreciated.
