This is a nice place and the 1 br suite was comfortable for three adult travelers. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location is amazing and extremely walkable to many attractions. I was shocked by how quiet the property was despite being in the middle of everything. We did have to call down for sheets and extra blankets which was frustrating because, sofa bed. But the front desk had them up so fast it lessened the frustration. I also had asked for feather free pillows in the reservation which was not honored but I was too tired so dealt with the nasal congestion due to an allergy. I have to say that communication with the property was another annoying thing. I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone so I emailed and asked for a phone call. I instead received an email. I had also left a message for the concierge which was never returned. Overall I would recommend this place despite the issues but definitely keep these things in mind

Ariana was fab to chat to and our breakfast was always served with a smile and chat. Room was super comfy but you can hear the tv a bit of the people next door have it on. It’s expensive but if you shop around you can find this hotel with a range of prices. It’s near to the Empire State Building and the metro which is easy to use to get to all the sights! Get the breakfast! It’s worth it.

we stayed at the affinia shelburne for 5 nights at the end of october 2011. from beginning to end we only experienced excellence in comfort and customer service. the room was really large (new york is known for small rooms) i dont believe anyone could complain about the size of the rooms at the affinia shelburne. location - 3 blocks from grand central station. or 3 blocks from 33rd street station on the 6 line. great location for everything new york has to offer but you are still able to escape to the lovely murray hill area on lexington avenue to get away from the hustle and bustle. staff were wonderful from check in to check out. within our stay we thought we may have had problems with our airline carrier for our return journey ( industrial action) and may have had to extend our stay, we knew the hotel was fully booked however the front desk staff allayed any of our concerns and stated uncategorically that we would not be without a bed- this was even before we asked - they notified us as they had also received the update from our carrier. i tried 3 pillows on the menu and they were all wonderful. bed was enormous and furniture and fixtures extremely well cared for. all in all a 10/10 from us and we will be back.

We liked hotel we had couoke dramas ie charging for a frisge $50 usd is absurd yiu should not charge we travwl all over states never charge for fridge travellers need this. If you touch their fridge that has thwir drinks and you put yr own and leave theirs on bench you will be charged?? 5 star hotel doing this?? So wrong!! then on top resort fees which we werent advised till checkout and i asked 6 or more times any hidden charges each time was told no .. then checkout i was surprised and wasnt hAppy at all they waivered it off!! The manager Joe was lovely he assisted us to make our stay better and upgraded us we thank him for that! We will return next time and stay in fountain room next time! We will come back as he really did look after us! Thanks Joe

I hesitated at first to book this hotel due to the numbers of negative feedback's here. Well, I am so glad I booked this hotel!!! I flew from Singapore to Honolulu and reached the hotel exhausted. I'm surprised on how ground staffs treated their visitors so warmly. Peeps are so generous and very friendly. That immediately made me fall in love with the place & of course the people. They even gave me 4 voucher for Mai Tai's (while waiting for my room)! Woohoo! Got into the room and I had amazing beach view from the balcony! And best part was the infinity pool! GOSH! Couldn't ask for more! Thank you all and I'll definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family! Will be back soon!

As this was our 5th trip to Vegas we thought we would splash out and spend a week at the Venetian. It was, by far, the best hotel we have used and that includes the Bellagio! Even the lowest priced suites are twice the size of similar hotel rooms in the 5 star class. Check in was quick and check out even quicker despite the email/text system not working. Concierge was extremely helpful, room was spotless and location is ideal for shows and restaurants. $45 per night resort fee is a tad excessive but most hotels charge a similar amount these days. Our only disappointment was the main pool being shut and having to use the very smart but extremely busy Palazzo hotel pool via the 4th floor walkway. Only shaded on the nearside in the morning so unless you want to sit in the blazing sun, options are a bit limited. A few umbrellas and some shade cloth would work a treat! Altogether a great stay and well worth doing at least once when you visit Vegas.

The rooms are large, clean, and modern but no fridge. Shower was one of the best. Get a room above about the 7th floor if you don't want a view of a wall - I was on the 8th floor and could just see over the parking garage roof. Last time I was lower and could only see a wall. Hotel has everything including good restaurants with reasonable prices. Beverages at the bar are about half the price of strip hotels. Gift shop has the best prices for alcohol I have ever seen. Seriously prices are as good as Costco. Large racebook and sportsbook, Steak and Shake near the books, theaters, equestrian center, bowling, etc. This place has it all and the value for your money is really good. Drawback for some is that it is located 4 miles south of the other strip hotels but it is just off the freeway (15), has a free shuttle to the strip, free airport transfers, and best of all if you are driving from Los Angeles you save 20 minutes going and returning.

This was my first trip to Vegas. Aria was a great place to stay and I found that accommodation in Vegas is a lot cheaper and a lot better than what you will get travelling elsewhere in the states, like LA for instance. This is definitely a 5 star hotel but you will pay way more for much less in other cities. One thing I loved which is (I believe) standard for modern Vegas hotels is the technology within the room - electronic curtains, one button turns the whole apartment off, lights, curtains close, tv goes off. Instead of placing an actual Do Not Disturb sign on your door you simply press a "privacy" button - although a couple of times this was ignored by house keeping who I think were trying to get my room serviced before they finished their shift. The curtains in my particular room were not complete black out curtains which I believe should be a necessity in Vegas and I believe is quite common - the sun still crept around the corners which made the room completely day light as soon as the sun was up and therefore not allowing you to sleep as long after a big night. The staff are so very helpful, Concierge will do anything for you, book tickets to shows, fill you in on the shows and what they are about, they even booked a mobile spray tanner to come to my room which was external to the hotel. The check in line when I arrived was really long and did take a while and it always seems to be so busy when I would walk through the lobby. The food for in room dining I wasn't overly impressed with, and its expensive!

This was the first time staying at the Excalibur and really surprised me. The reviews stated that it was outdated but I found that it is perfect for the themed times. The room we stayed in was clean and I wasn't afraid to walk on the carpet or sit in the chairs. Staff was great and room service was fast and good. Would recommend staying here and will stay here again if I can find low rates. All hotels are over priced for Vegas but this was in the middle for me on price. Could have been a little cheaper so I could spend more on gambling and eating at the hotels more.

My sister and I stayed in an Executive suite non smoking in the Grand Tower. They did originally allocate us to a twin room but when I showed them my booking they immediate corrected the error. We were on the 23rd floor with a view over New York New York. Only gripe was the noise of the air conditioner, however I have found that issue is universal across the United States just different degrees of noise. Beds were comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay.

The Mirage is a great hotel. It is spotless with large rooms and comfy beds and has all the amenities you need except tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I don’t know if this is usual for Vegas hotels but it’s the first one we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world that doesn’t have that facility. This spoilt it for us as we had no choice but to get dressed and go and buy Starbucks in the hotel every morning which was more expensive than in the uk. This would have been a 5 star review had it not been for that.

I will return. Enjoy the Palazzo for a number of reasons but most of all the friendliness of your staff. The facility is always clean and my room is spacious, maintenance free and "clean". I travel extensively and consequently am overly concerned with the cleanliness of the room and, accordingly, am very particular where I stay. I even use a black light. I also enjoy the Sports Book, the best in town. I do visit other hotels while in Vegas but for both work and pleasure, I prefer the Palazzo.

The hotel seems to be set up to cater to large events and lacks a certain amount of charm. Having said that, the amenities are good. The spa is separate from the hotel. My wife used the spa, but no spa packages were available to us when we booked. Breakfast was not included. We booked off season and I thought we could get more value for our dollar. Long Branch has a very pretty beach, and we certainly enjoyed our stay.

This wasn’t my first time at the hotel and never had a problem with them until today when they decided to charge me more than what I booked the room for. They charged me a destination fee which was never in my total when I booked the room. I showed the rep my email of the proof that the $9.99 was never part of my total and they didn’t want to listen to me at all her and the manager they kept pushing their receipt in my face and tried to break it down like I was stupid. I had my proof what my total was after the taxes and fees and they refused to leave it at what I was told I was going to pay and said they wouldn’t refund me my money. The rep also couldn’t explain to me what was the purpose of the destination fee. I got my money back thanks to Agoda because they also stated that extra fee was never on my total from the start.

Paying $35 USD resort fees for things that aren't even open or that no one uses is a bit ridiculous. No pools open so you literally get WIFI for $35 bucks a day (and gym access I guess) which is frankly a huge ripoff. The State hotel tax I get but this fee should just be included in the price upfront; having to fork out $280 at the end of 7 nights sucks and kind of makes you leave on a bad note and not want to return. I will say all vegas hotels do this these days though. Other than that it's a clean, relatively quiet hotel at the south end of the strip. Casino is not very busy; shows are kind of B grade but you can walk to the good ones. Buffet is decent and cheaper than some others. Not much in the way of high end amenities available which fits its price range. It was the talk of the town 25 years ago when they built it but now it's just getting kind of old. Stay in the towers if you can; it is nicer than the pyramid although kids will find the pyramid pretty cool.

This hotel that opened for the Chicago World's fair in 1893 sits in the heart of Chicago's downtown (the Loop), with beautiful views of Lake Michigan, Grant and Millennium Parks, and the Buckingham fountain that is right across the street. Given the prime location, you would think it would long ago have been replaced by a post-modern resort that would cost several times as much. Instead this capacious hotel still sits in a much more appealing location than the more famous Palmer House, and seems to get by filling rooms with deals like the one I found on Agoda. Sure, our room didn't face the Lake, but we could still see it through the bay window that all rooms seem to have. The room itself was clean and well appointed. I would have preferred two queen beds to the two fulls that the room included, but the mattresses were comfortable and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious for a room in a large metro downtown. The staff was uniformly cheerful, pleasant, helpful and patient. The TV allowed us to stream a movie from a laptop through an HDMI cable that I always carry for that purpose. (This is not a given.) The hotel is huge but didn't feel close to full. For example, elevators always arrived promptly, the lobby always seemed to have room when we needed it. One thing we enjoyed (though others might not): The clientele of the hotel felt rich and varied; this is not a tony preserve of the elite. Negatives: The room smelled a little musty till housekeeping (quickly and politely) replaced the filter in the air conditioner. One day the chambermaid took our towels and didn't replace them. I had to call housekeeping twice before replacements were quickly and apologetically brought to the room. The carpet in the room feels too cushy; I had to lift my feet a bit further off the ground than I am used to in order to avoid catching my sole on the carpet. None of these really bothered us. (OK, the second phone call to housekeeping did annoy me.) For rooms this nice in a location th

We spent 5 days at Hotel Nikko from December 24th till 30th after traveling for almost 3 weeks over three states. Hotel Nikko was our last stop for our road trip and it was the most accommodating place we stayed at. The service was excellent! i cannot say this enough, amongst ALL the hotels we stayed at, hotel Nikko at SF had THE BEST customer service we had ever experienced. There were so many people there who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good stay, our requests were accommodated and that our kids were comfortable and had everything they needed. They even switched up the menu a bit to help me out with my very fussy little eaters and would even bother to call to check about certain ingredients. Location wise- amazing! walking distance to all the major stores and great restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend this place to anyone i know visiting SF in the future. Thank you for helping us end our trip in such a wonderful way!

I have been to NYC previously & for this trip I chose the Dylan Hotel for it's Midtown location as my friend & I ran the 2019 TCS NYC Marathon. I have fairly high expectations & the hotel surpassed it! The staff provided excellent & kind service throughout our five night stay. I loved the hotel's stylish decor and it is very clean. I also highly recommend booking the hotel to future TCS NYC Marathon runners! Two important features; if you choose the start line bus pick-up at the library it's a five minute walk from the hotel & second after the Central Park finish take the near by train/shuttle back to the hotel as it's equally convenient. The hotel's location was great for shopping, restaurants, & hoping on the train from Grand Central Station which is one block away. As Canadian travelers, with the US exchange rate this Midtown hotel had the best value for our stay. I will certainly book my return NYC visit at the Dylan!

We did some price comparison before booking and happy we selected the Trump International Hotel at Las Vegas. We came for touring (not gambling) and like the hotel without casinos. Our room is Superior King, spacious with marble decorations, beautiful views, refrigerator, microwave and electric cooking stove. We ate our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The food is good with excellent services at reasonable prices. Next time, we would select Superior Queen Room instead of Superior King Room so that our son will sleep in a standard bed instead of a rollout sofa. The sofa bed is big and comfortable, yet , the blanket for the sofa bed is much thinner than the standard bed. We didn't request change or additional blanket. It's not a big deal. Overall, the hotel is a five-star hotel at reasonable prices. We enjoyed it.

We rolled into San Francisco on an evening flight and we waited for an hour before the shuttle showed up standing in the cold. We called a few times but it only came an hour later. As we got into the hotel, the front desk lady told me sh couldn't find my reservation and later we realised that I had booked the hotel a day later (I made a mistake and booked the room for a day later because I failed to consider that we flew out on a red-eye flight) The very nice lady let us check in and asked me to sort it out with Agoda and in the meantime. I called Agoda.com on my Skype using the wonderful free wifi in the room (it was excellent connection) and sort it out with the Agoda officer within mins and I didn't get any extra charges. Excellent customer service. Thumbs up to both the hotel and Agoda!!

We were on our way to a cruise and planned to visit attractions in the Seattle area before boarding. Since we wanted to visit the Museum of Flight, we chose a hotel closer to the airport. Hotel Interurban was very highly recommended and had competitive pricing. What we liked: - State of facilities. I.e. room newly renovated comparable to high-end brands. - The kindness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. I.e. offering to change the room when notified about sound issues. - Shuttle from the airport. What we liked less: - Mattresses way too soft. - Sound insulation: we could hear traffic from the streets, television from nearby room. - Breakfast: we've seen better variety for free at Holiday Inns or Days Inns compared to the asked $22. There were "conditions" about Stash & free breakfast that ended up compensated. Beverages not readily available. I would recommend to friends to consider this hotel while comparing their priorities to the elements above.
