"We were only in Phuket for less than 24 hours, and decided on this large resort. We were happy to get into our room early, relax by the pool, and explore Patong Beach. The staff was so friendly, and the rooms were simple and comfortable, but the best part was the view!! We did not expect to have a full on view of the ocean, so it was a lovely surprise to see a balcony with a beautiful view of Patong Beach. We saw the most gorgeous sunset in Thailand from this balcony!! I absolutely loved the 2 pools (one with a waterslide), but the infinity pool is the real winner. With a swim up bar, and amazing views, it's the real star of this resort. I spent hours there in my less than 24 hour visit to Phuket, and don't regret it a minute! (Additional perk was that we had breakfast included, but were leaving around 6:30am, so they packed us our breakfast to go!). For a short stay, this is great!"

"Me and my wife stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel room is huge for the cheapest price and it also comes with a balcony. Pros - You get 2 free bottles of mineral water which get topped up every day. Spacious hotel room, comes with a king bed and a sofa bed so you can fit in 3 people. The location was simply the best. Just 2 mins walk to night market for food and other stuff. Patong beach was 5 mins walk. Jungceylon is around 10 mins walk. You can walk to the bus stop @ Patong beach to get to Phuket Old Town for 30 baht taking the public bus. Taxi will cost you at least 500 baht. Staff are friendly and courteous and helpful for any enquiries and they will try their best to help you. Cons - Hotel is located just behind the river which gives out a sewage smell. So we rarely went to the balcony. Toilet while generally clean will also emit a strong odour most probably from the river. Small swimming pool but small issue as you can swim at the beach. I give this hotel 4.5/5 stars and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Phuket. Thanks Mazi Design Hotel and keep up the good work. "

"It was my first time to Phuket and I was conscious about where to stay, so I did my homework for 2 months beforehand. Only in the end, I decided to choose to stay in Sleep With Me. I prided myself for doing that because it is really the best hotel to stay in for those who do not want to splurge unnecessarily for luxurious 5-star hotels. The location is right in the middle of all the happenings in Phuket, yet it is very quiet at night, so I had good-night-sleeps for my 5 nights stay. The service is well-done, the breakfast is more than satisfactory and everything you need is close-by...tuk-tuks, taxis, Jungceylon shopping mall, massage and spa centres, Bangla street, 7/11, great food, hundreds of local souvenirs stalls and etc. Stay here! You won't regret! "

"Pros -prime location Indian food (Madras cafe) is just 100m away, lots of Indian food joints in that lane. Less than a kilometer to Patong beach. Breakfast varieties are very good, good for vegetarians too. The staff is flexible on the checkout time by an hour. It's 2pm to 12 noon. 2 bottles of water complimentary. Good towels, shower gel etc are available in the rooms Bed isn't sift, so got some good sleep after all the snorkelling and swimming done through Marks phuketsailtours. Cons- the Thai massage is done by experienced staff but kinda average. My internet wifi issue was never addressed. Nothing major on the minus side. The hotel is worth the money and one of the initial drops when you take the shared airport shuttle to patong. Also, the staff is well mannered and can speak English to a fair bit. I will definitely book this one if I make it to Phuket again. Keep up the good work. Best, Shyam "

"This was the best hotel we stayed at in Phuket! Firstly, we were upgraded to a suite room which was huge and lovely. And we didnt even have to request it. Beautiful new room 9/10. The Splash Jungle Water Park is located within the resort and we got to use it for free! Had so much fun on the rides and slides. Breakfast the next day at Splash Cafe was amazing as well esp the Bacon. But it was super crowded so that was a minus. All in all, we enjoyed our stay a lot and wish we had booked another night. Well done Splash team!"

"I visit Phuket almost every year for vacation, been to many hotels (3 stars to 5stars) and for the price you pay I will rank sawaddi patong one of the top three. It was not a huge hotel, but big enough to have all the facilities you want, recently renovated, always clean. All the staffs were very very nice and kind. (I stayed for 4 nights at sawaddi patong with my sister) didn't have problem communicating with them, even though some of them didn't speak English well still tried their best to help. I was so touched. The location was perfect for me, not in the middle of crazy parties, yet you can easily walk to them. If you like Thai food, there is local restaurant very near the hotel, and you will find it easily cause always busy with people. Food was great but reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in mains.. Still tasty!!! If I have to pick a down side of this hotel is that breakfast wasn't impressive, but you can order eggs in your way, salad, fruits, toast, cereal, some local dishes. N of course coffee. Me and my sister can't wait to go back to his hotel, staying here made our vacation. I will Definatly choose sawaddi patong for my next vacation. "

"This is one of the best hostels, more like a hotel to me, that I stayed at in Thailand. I reserved the smallest private room and I was extremely happy with it: it was super clean, modern and functional. Everything worked 100%. The bathroom was clean and immaculate. Water temperature and pressure was excellent. The staff was friendly and excellent as well. I highly suggest that you utilize their inhouse travel services (STA Travel). Toni from STA, booked a full day island tour that was affordable and luxurious. That's all I'm going to say. If you can opt for a better package, go with it, you won't regret it. Also worth mentioning, is that there are so many activities within the hostel that can allow you to relax, socialize and network with people. Somedays, you can just stay inside the 'hostel', away from the hustle of Phuket within a nice environment and still enjoy yourself. Location is excellent: next to a lot of restaurants, food stalls, massage parlor and Walking ST."

"we stayed here on our first stop in thailand after arriving in phuket. i wanted something secluded, and this was just the place. unfortunately, i underestimated how quiet and remote it would be. this is important because transportation is relatively costly. a ride into patong one-way; the hotel does offer shuttle service once a day to both patong and karon beach and back, but the times are pretty early. while you can walk to karon beach or patong, you'll be walking downhill on a dirt road with cars rushing past. the walk to karon is 15-20 minutes, and i imagine the walk to patong is around 30 minutes. we booked the most affordable garden view room through agoda. it's a large spacious room, with great features like a good ac, big tv, fridge. after walking around the grounds of this resort, however, i realized this is perhaps the room with the most 'basic' view. so if you have the money to spend, do spend a bit more for a non-garden view room, it'll be quite worth it. i think with the added transportation costs to get to the beach and restaurants, i wouldn't come back for just a standard garden view room. overall, it was still a very pleasant and unique experience. the pool has a stunning view. the service was excellent. "Brilliant place to experience Phuket for the first time.We stayed in the hotel for 5 days. The location was good and relaxing. The staff were friendly and very approachable. The housekeeper always cleans the room and change the towels everyday. The beds are extremely comfy that you would like to sleep all day...The swimming pool is big ang clean. The buffet breakfast was good and yummy but I would like to suggest if they can prepare different foods each day. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit in Phuket. I highly recommend it! "
