"I loved the hotel and all the areas of the hotel. But there are too many extras to pay for. Example $27 to rent a small umbrella on the beach was not necessary. If you want more guests cut some of the costs. Judy Dales"

"... but we knew Miami already and just went there shopping. To go up north to Sawgrass Mills Mall, you safe time as it is closer than if you stay in Miami Beach or Downtown, but it takes you 30-40 minutes to get to Miami Beach if you wish to go. The hotel is OK. It was clean (new shower curtain!), but a bit „old school“. Toilet flush a bit tricky. Only works if the water refilled completely (US-system...). Fixed shower (no hose) is a bit tricky with a child. The room had a microwave, tv and a safe. Ice-machine around the corner. The hotel offers complimentary coffee in the lobby - very good! The main entrance is currently undergoing rebuilding, but no big problem, you just enter from rear of the building. For a short stay absolutely ok. For longer, I would go more south beach."

"We had a very nice stay at Generator. It is a young, modern, cosmopolitan hotel with a beautiful and multifunctional openspace, a nice refined restaurant and a refreshing pool area and chill out bar. The rooms are perfectly fine, functional, with nice view. We could leave our luggages at the hotel and use the facilities even after check out. We checked out at 11 and one hour later i realised that i left my Cartier watch in the room. I asked to have the key back to be able to access the room and I found the cleaning lady that told me that she was almost finishing cleaning the room. I perfectly knew where i left the watch but it was not there. She told me that she did not find anything, i checked again, on the floor, under the bed but nothing. I was shaking as the watch is precious and a family present. What happened next Is extremely important to give a+ to the Manager of the hotel. As i was desperate, the supervisor asked me to check in my luggages. I knew that it was not there but i checked anyhow. The Manager intervened and he told me that in casw they would have checked the camera recording on my floor to see who got into our room. He then told me to relax, go to the pool and be his guest, taking anything i wanted from the bar. I had a glass of wine, i was in strong distress and concern. The Manager arrived after twenty minutes with a present for me. The watch was found. I know that the watch was not in the room as i checked but I didn’t want to investigate or to accuse. What is important to me is how nicely the case was treated by the Manager and i could go home with my watch on and with a happy memory of Miami and Generator. Thank you Mr Rafael Motta. "

"We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights! And I must say the awesomely well decorated suite rooms, friendly staff and cleanliness of the room and hotel made us so happy to be there! And 5 nights seriously wasn't enough! The hotel has 3 separate buildings and 2 pools! Just 5 mins walk to the famous Miami Beach that is so convenientlt located! There's even a 24 hours mini mart/deli across the hotel for your late night stomach fulfills! All the staff was so helpful and friendly except for a staff named, Arlene? If I got that right. She was the only staff working there that had a sour face and was so unhelpful! That didn't quite make my day! But the other staff came to the rescue in all our needs! Other then Arlene who was rude and mean (what makes it worse is she works at the front desk, the first face you see when you come) spoilt the image of the almost perfect hotel to stay in Miami ! The rest was a perfect great vacation !!! Will for sure stay at Riveria when we happen to head there again !! "

Facilities were ok other than the curtain missing letting light in and noise travelling from the living room area to where the beds are - one huge room with maybe 30 beds."
