"This APA hotel is a new APA hotel in Hiroshima (they have another one nearer to hiroshima station) and it can be hard to find if you do not know how to navigate the underground exits from Hiroshima station, though once you get there, it's actually relatively easy. Staff was able to speak English and were kind and helpful. The room has a big TV and everything was clean, tidy and in place. There seem to be Hiroshima delicacies available for takeaway right at the hotel lobby restaurant, though I did not try. Highly recommend this place."

"This is an excellent hotel and one couldn't really ask for a better location within Hiroshima - it's within easy walking distance of the Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, Hon-dori (the main shopping arcade) and, of course, the A-Bomb Dome. It's also well connected by city trams - two stations are very close - and it is very easy to find. JR Hiroshima Station is roughly 20 minutes by tram, and trams leave in every direction every four or five minutes for most of the day. As a result of this, you'll have no problem getting around Hiroshima from here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and if you don't speak Japanese there is always at least one English-speaking staff member on call. They'll be more than willing to help you get around and see things. Free internet is available in rooms but it's wired-only, unlike some of the other Dormy Inn Hotels in Japan - however, there are desktop PCs in the lobby and a printer is available. The public bath on the top floor isn't half bad, either, for those of you who enjoy the Japanese Onsen/Sento experience! If I had one criticism of this hotel it would be that it seems rather old. There are stains and imperfections on the walls and some of the furniture is a bit worn out - although I must stress that like most Japanese hotels it is impeccably clean. The rooms are about standard-sized in Japan, but they are somewhat smaller than Western rooms, too, although they are by no means cramped and are very comfortable. "

"The hotel was great. The room was just normal, no view, two beds, a desk and a small bathroom with a bathtub, nothing spectacular or that would explain the high price (for me), but the bed was really comfy, the public bath in the 2nd floor was a real treat and the breakfast (included) was great. There were a lot of savoury choices and a few fruits and bread. I wish there had been more sweet choices like more types of jam, cereals and fruits as I always go for something sweet for breakfast but I believe it's not that common in Asia so that's fine. I was just a bit surprised that they only offered margarine and not butter (in such a pricey hotel and with such a pricey breakfast (I believe around 1200¥ if it's not included) I expect butter.) Location wise it was great ! A bit far from Hiroshima station if you dislike walking but easily accessible by streetcar (I think) very close to the peace museum and genbakudome as well as Hiroshima castle and the shotengai. It was a good overall."

"It’s located in a small street near some kind of shopping area, quite near from the streetcar station (around 150 meter). Around 10 minute walks to the peace park memorial. The hostel located on top of Scandinavian cafe and bar. I stayed in the woman’s dorm on the second floor. It has its own toilet, sink and spaces for luggage. But the shower room is in 3rd floor. The kitchen and dining area is in 4th floor. The room and bed itself quite comfy and nice. The staffs are really nice, and speaking good english. I just stayed for a night, i wish i’d stay longer. Hiroshima is a beautiful city though"

Location is excellent, a stones throw from the Peace Park, shopping, and restaurants. I never eat at the hotel restaurant, but I am sure glad I did.
