I've been to 9h capsule hotel in Tokyo and I have to say Acro is even better than 9h! I enjoyed my stay here a lot! 💝 First the location is very conveniently near subway and dotonbori so you can easily plan your shopping trips nearby and don't need to worry about going back hotel too late. Staffs were all very friendly! No matter which day I went to counter to change a new bag, the staffs always assisted with a warm smile 🤗 The locker is not big but good enough for hanging clothes, putting your daily backpack and shoes etc. and your luggage just put on the racks it's relatively safe. Locker room space isn't very very big but it's good enough to have a few people packing luggage at same time. Btw please take note your locker is locked/unlocked by manual card tapping. 1st day I didn't know it's not auto-locked and only realised it second day 😅 it's good in a way if you're packing luggage/locker together though The bedroom capsule is quite spacious and I actually find it slightly bigger than 9h. There's still place for you to air your clothes in the capsule itself or use it to prep your next day clothes. Also a hook to hang your bags. Capsule has main light & small lamp light with adjustable brightness for people like me who doesn't feel comfortable sleeping with entire darkness ☺️ there's an alarm that uses light flashes to wake you up, and there's ventilation fans too in case you feel hot. A very well thought through design&functions in the capsule 👍🏻 As for whether is the capsules soundproof, they're actually better than 9h too! Of course don't expect entire soundproof walls but it's considered good enough. You will not hear bedsheets ruffling sounds (I do in 9h..) , but will hear if someone hits metal parts, drops things, walk pass (for bottom bunk) etc. Just pray your neighbours are all considerate because 1/3 night I stayed there was someone who talked on phone in the bedroom at 10pm+ and it took a few people knocking on her walls for her to realise she shouldn't be doing it. She didn't end the call immediately though, just softened her voice, which was very inconsiderate because you are NOT suppose to be on phone at the bedroom. If you can't follow this simple rule, don't book a capsule hotel. The powder/restroom/shower room is seperately by 2 doors from bedroom and blocks out all water/hair dryer sounds. Sufficient restrooms/shower rooms/ sinks for all to use. Restroom seperated from shower room so all can use at different time. Shower room has separation between shower area and dry area, has many hooks/hanger and basket to hang/place clothes. Powder area has sink/hair dryer and even small mirror to help you do makeup. Very convenient! Generally all parts of the capsule hotel is at a good temperature, not too hot/cold. No matter locker/bedroom or during shower, all temperature is very well-controlled and comfortable. At no point I felt too hot or cold. I didn't use lounge a lot but! There is a water dispenser for all to use!! Cold/hot water available 🥹 if you want to buy water from vending machine it's there too~ This place is very nice I enjoyed my stay a lot!! I enjoyed Osaka a lot too so I will definitely come back to stay here again if I return to Osaka! 💖 Thank you for the wonderful place!
