Most helpful front desk staffs!”
I would like to commend the 2 front desk staffs namely, Yui san and Azusa san for helping me to recover my lost merchandises in Kurashiki Mitsui Premium Outlet Mall before arriving in Candeo Hotel Hiroshima. They went all the way to contact the Outlet Mall and subsequently the police station to arrange the lost items to be sent to my Osaka's hotel. Really appreciate the help from Sui san and Azusa san. Arigatou gozaimasu!

Stylish compact rooms with no storage. ”
Staff were very accommodating, views stunning. The stylish room was very small and would be perfect for 2 adults but we were three...the main issue is lack of storage. If you traveled without any bags is would be fine, but on a ski holiday we had a fair bit of stuff. The super king bed is far too big for the room. The sofa-bed works well and had a window view. The room AC was noisy and either too hot or too cold - an opening window would be appreciated. Small fridge was great and there were cups and glasses galore. The top of amenities cabinet was unusable as it opened upwards. No closet, no usable drawers or shelves - a cleverer design of the room would have provided solutions here. Bathroom was the smallest I have experienced in many trips to Japan. I personally didn't like the bathroom product smell. Free luggage storage. We wash/dried a full load of laundry Y500 - use a translator app to help you. Easy walk to Peace Park and take the ferry to Meyajima Island from there.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Staff was pleasant. Though breakfast selection was limited and can get really crowded at times to the point of food running out and it takes a while for it to be refilled. Near the tram station.

Everything is good except parking. Although the parking is just next to hotel, the parking fee is very expensive. You should park your car after 8pm and pick up your car before 8pm. If not, very expensive.

Fave Japanese hotel chain”
Candeo is our favorite Japanese hotel chain - while the city hotels aren't necessarily more spacious than other chains, they're always sensibly laid out and the Muji-esque rooms so reliably clean. This Hiroshima Candeo is so new it even smells new. The onsen is great and so is breakfast. We stayed 2 + 2 nights this trip - the first room we got had a smaller queen bed but a huge outdoor terrace - we kept the sliding door open at night to enjoy the cool summer night air instead of using the AC. The second room had 2 single beds joined together and was more spacious overall but lacked any means to open the window. Both layouts were fantastic. We'll always pick the Candeo over the APA, Richmond, Mitsui Garden, Toyogo, etc.

Every detail at this hotel was amazing Every thing looked lake new the room and each hotel facilities .They have their own "onsen" with a lot of products that you can use after your relaxed bath (i couldn't enjoy it because I have a tatoo...:( ) breakfast was delocius and with variety,they also have disposable cups so you can take a cofee or a green tea with you Easy acces and very convenient Not all the staff know English,but is like in all Japan ,nonetheless were there some staff ladies that helped me a lot to arrenge something I needed Deffinetly I recomend The Candeo Hiroshima!

Great hotel in central Hiroshima”
This hotel was the perfect location to get around to many major tourist attractions in Hiroshima, and easily accessible from the Hiroshima station. Our room was very nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable, and the addition of the tv being a smart tv was nice for Netflix. The hotel itself was very nice; clearly new, the lobby always smelled fantastic. The views from reception were great, I wish we had a room higher up to enjoy it more! The sky spa does not allow tourists with tattoos so I regret not being able to experience that. Otherwise this was a great hotel for a one night stay in Hiroshima.

Relatively new hotel with good location and spa facility”
The hotel is about 10min walk from Hiroshima Bus Center and like what most comments, the entrance is inconspicuous (checking the Google map and landmark in advance helps). The location is great, close to Hondori, Tokyu Hands and 15 min walk to memorial park and hiroshima castle. The spa and sauna facilities are great. Breakfast selection is also good. I chose the 3rd floor room with balcony but found that the balcony was walled up and with some high rise over it. Room is tight but manageable. Toilet is a typical Japanese setup with everything you need compactly built. Overall a good hotel for its location and spa facility.

Great location, Big room, Clean”
Location is great with many buses and streetcars just right downstairs the hotel. It's a 15mins walking distance or 7mins streetcar ride to Hiroshima Bus Centre and about 15mins streetcar ride to Hiroshima Station. There's also convenient stores downstairs the hotel so very convenient to grab a quick bite for breakfast. Hotel is also located near Hondori and shopping malls. Room is bigger than the usual Japan hotels with a mini toilet that comes with bathtub. Didn't manage to try the Onsen located at Level 14 though. Overall, i had a good stay here for 7 nights!

Gorgeous brand-new hotel with stunning rooftop spa”
This hotel was sparkling new and absolutely gorgeous. Although we arrived late a night, the front desk staff were very helpful and even accommodated a change in room type for us. Staff spoke very good English and were helpful throughout our stay with suggestions and baggage storage. Breakfast, although a bit pricey was delicious with a great selection of both Western and Japanese foods. They even provide "to-go" cups for your drinks! The room was on the smaller side (totally normal in Japan), but it's thoughtful layout and comfortable bed more than made up for it. A kettle, with coffee and tea was provided as well. The rooftop Onsen (spa) was the star of the show and both times we used it, we were the only people up there. Since we both have tattoos we were a bit worried, but it was never an issue. Both the men's and women's spas have an outdoor onsen that overlooks the Hiroshima skyline but is still private. Amenities are plentiful and top-notch. We would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel is new and recently opened. The rooms were very clean. Staff were great. Outdoor/indoor bath on top floor was relaxing. Location was central and close to shopping areas. 15 minute walk to Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima Castle. Entrance to hotel a little confusing. .... Walk all the way in when you see the Cando Hotel sign and a sliding wall/door will open. Take the elevator to the 13th floor to the reception desk “front”. Would definitely stay here again.
