The new building was tidy. The service was also attentive, and the homely hot spring was relaxing. For those who are fit, it's a 15-minute walk from Atami Station. For those who are less fit, you can take a taxi from Atami Station or walk for 5 minutes from Kinomiya Station. Kinomiya Shrine is nearby and I recommend visiting it.
