I have been to different hotels in Japan at least from Tokyo area to Kasai Region to Fukuoka. I alway try to book at an APA Hotel. If you are looking for comfort of a 5 star hotel but within a reasonable price, this hotel definitely will give you what you are looking for. Comfortable beds, good Air Condition as well as Heater. The room is always clean and the bathroom is just right. I like the fact that the water from the faucet is also potable. I will always book at APA whenever it is available when I am in Japan.

Great value across the bridge near the station ”
There are two APA hotels near Hiroshima station. This is the further one and you have to go across the bridge that is near the exit. There is a Lawson’s in the hotel, and the coin laundry is washer/dryer all-in-one and has a passcode to prevent people from taking your clothes when laundry is done. There is another machine nearby that gives you change in coins in case you don’t have any.

Our trip to Hiroshima”
This hotel is conveniently located in the city centre. It is very near to shopping district, Hiroshima castle and other sights. The housekeeping staff is also very polite and they are very prompt with cleaning up our room. I have one feedback, however. The toilet in the room is elevated. It is not convenient for senior folks. I brought my parents on this trip. They experienced inconvenience so we looked after them. Unlike Dormy Inn where the access to the toilet is same floor level.

APA Hiroshima is the best choice to stay in Hiroshima. Good location , near Hiroshima station and Local train station. Easy to go everywhere. The Hotel has the good onsen. The Staff at front desk very nice.

I recommend this hotel in Hiroshima considering the price I pay even though the distance from the Shinkansen station to the hotel was slightly further than expected - with luggage I guess around 10-15mins? Going through the underpass etc. Other than that, the check-in process was very fast as they have many staffs and counters. They even have a onsen in the hotel, which I did not expect. Most importantly, it’s clean and new.

It is a 4-minute walk from Hiroshima Station South Exit, but it takes a little more from the Shinkansen Exit.
