very clean and homey hostel”
this hostel is only 2min walk from Tokaichi-machi tram station. it is really close to Atomic dome, peace museum, and Hiroshima castle on foot. the staffs are very friendly and helpful. i really love the design of the hostel nostalgic yet classy. overall i highly recommend this hostel for any type of traveller especially female travelling alone. ps: thanks for your help miss Liu! i hope we can meet again :)

The hostel just opened up a second location near the first. It was two weeks old when I arrived. The hostel was excellent. The bathrooms were clean. The shower had good heat and water pressure. Furthermore, the staff was excellent. The couple that owns the hostel are great and are ready to assist you with anything. I will stay here again next time I am in Hiroshima.

At first I booked this hostel for 2 nights , and eventually booked additional 3 nights because the hostel is just simply amazing! Staff were excellent and most importantly the cleanliness was top notch, truly value for money. It is walking distance to the atomic bomb dome as well as one of starting point of Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Arcade. I promise you won't regret booking 36hostel :)

Beautiful budget hostel with wonderful staff”
36 Hostel was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, bedroom, and showers were immaculate -cleaner than many hotels I've stayed at. It is charmingly decorated and close to Peace Park. The only thing to note is that some of the rooms have steep stairs. If that is a concern for you, inquire about rooms in the other section of the building. Overall, highly recommended!

It’s so close to A-bomb dome and Hiroshima castle by walk. Clean and little cozy for single travelers to stay. You could meet some foreigners and have a conversation with them. There is Japanese old spa for less than 10min by walk if you don’t want to use just shower room which is in this guest house.

Wonderful place, owned by a wonderful family. Can’t recommend this lovely guesthouse enough! Make sure to book a massage at their friend’s super closed by massage therapy studio - it was pure bliss! Would stay there again 100% and longer! Hiroshima is a hidden gem (psst)!

Quick stop but fav place”
I looooved staying here. The staff were awesome, the dog is a cutie, the owner lovely. The beds were so comfortable I woke up and forgot where I was. It’s so well thought through with the hipster-ness of the whole place it was so cute and cool. Coffeehouse was very good, if a little cramped. Definitely my favorite place I’ve stayed so far on my trip and a must stay again if I visit Hiroshima again.

Fantastic”
The hostel is cozy and confortable. Is not that close to the train station but you can take a light rail for 2 or 3 stops. Right next to the A-Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Park. The owners were really friendly and willing to help us. They have a coffee and book store and we had a delicious breakfast before starting the day. The bedroom was small but nice and clean, same as the restroom and bathroom. They only have one shower so, keep that in mind for your timing. Really enjoyed the stay!

The owners are soooo nice. Feels like home. The hostel is clean, cozy and with high accessibility. Excellent location, there is a supermarket and a laundry shop around the corner. 3 Mins to the tram station. You can go to the peace memorial park on foot in just 20 mins. I'll definitely come back next time ;)))))

The coolest hotel in the center of Hyroshima next to the tram lines and just next door to a very nice cafe. Quiet neighborhood. The capsules are ok sized and comfortable. It takes around a 5-10 min walk to the A-bomb memorial park and museum. Superclean.

Nice hostel, good location ”
The staff are friendly and I enjoyed the little café downstairs. Place is clean and near the Peace Dome and tram lines. The beds in the main dorm were basically like a capsule hotels. Not so much bunks as pods. I enjoyed it and would stay again.
