There's a bus stop around the corner to Patong Beach. Bus fare only cost THB30 whereas if you take the taxi it will cost you around THB600 to THB500.

Par United Kingdom, 13. mars 2013	Great Location for exploring Phuket Location, nice staff and great public transport links 8,3 We decided to stay for one night at Chinotel so we could and see which area would suit us best in Phuket. It was so hot we headed straight for the beach after one night. The staff were really helpful in helping us find our way around and amazing public transport links are on their door step ( so important as taxi cost a fortune all over Phuket). The Hotel was clean and the room was a decent size. The bed was very comfy. The best thing overall about this hotel is it's location. There's amazing shopping in all around .We liked Old Town best as it had a stylish mix of new and old with some really forward thinking cafe/restaurants.

I would definitely recommend this place to others. Easy location to visit Phuket Town, visit the weekend market, but also a lot closer to destinations such as Phang Nga or Phi Phi verses living on the west near Patong where you will have to travel much further. Rooms were clean, great working AC, fast internet, helpful staff, and got complimentary breakfast. Would definitely return.

Great location for shopping to get cheap price. OK just for transit , it has a lot of public transport

At night, you can find the dinner from 2-3 blocks of road away. 7-11 is just very near. Location is perfect for person who have no own transport as well because there's a bus to another beach in front of the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and service-minded. There might be some unpleasant odor from outside the window because the hotel is next to the market

Par Estonia, 16. februar 2013	Great value hotel in the old part of town Clean, helpful staff, central location 8,3 Hotel is really clean and cozy and the personal was helpful and friendly. Cable tv with loads of channels and a kettle and fridge provided, good and free wifi connection. Hotel is located right next to the market (warning this is a food/fish market so can be smelly and noisy but fortunately can't smell/hear it from inside your room)and bus station to many parts of phuket's beaches is just right beside. Altogether though it was a good choice and I'd go back. Tips om sightseeing/attraksjoner: Booking trips (Ao Phang-Nga, Ko Phi Phi) can be done at the hotel easily.
