There are so many stairs which I don't mind but the rooms are i desperate need of some TLC. The shower had mould on it, as did the tap. The toilet had stains all over it. The owner is very funny.

Gruppe Italy, 7. januar 2013	Avoid unless you wanna risk your own life best features were probably the mosquitos 2,3 i have a lot to say about this hotel, first thing... receptionist was a smart arse,he said that we were able to see the beach from our room, and we really could, because after walking up hill for 328 stairs ( counted) u were able to see the whole island, there wasnt even a lift, so u never wanted to leave the room because of the walk back. there was a lot of mosquitos. enough said. breakfast just lays there all day with flies and mosquitos flying al over it, so i never had breakfast there... room service would just leave ur water out in the heat. Utelivstips: far from night life, u cant even take a girl up there that she gives up half way through it.

Par United Kingdom, 1. januar 2013	Fantastic views but needs some work The view and it's not too noisy 5,7 The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the harbour but this makes it quieter at night time. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly man on reception who served us with welcome drinks. He was very helpful answering any questions we had throughout our stay. The complex is set upon the side of a mountain so we were asked whether we would like to stay in a high up room or in the middle we asked for a high room as the view would be better. The view did not disappoint but it was quite a trek as a lot of the stairways and bannisters had broken away so navigating your way to your room was quite dangerous. The rooms were mostly clean and the air con did the job. I would recommend taking your own padlock for the door as they make you hand in the key to their lock when you go outside of the hotel which seemed a little dodgy. Don't choose this hotel for the swimming pool as it is tiny, dirty and full of bugs. We booked the room for one night on new years eve as there was little choice available we probably paid over the odds but at the right price this hotel does the job.

Location, very clean, spectacular view, great breakfast 9,3 This hotel has some strongly worded negative reviews, so I was a little nervous. Once I got there, though, I was very happy with my choice. We stayed in one of the highest room (I believe room 702) and it had a gorgeous view over the bay. It was extremely clean with no weird smells (as other reviews had noted). Most guidebooks mention that demand is higher than supply for island hotels, so most of them feel too expensive; that seems to just be the deal with the area. The hotel's location was fantastic - a short walk to the beaches and restaurants, but set back onto a hill so that you're not in the midst of the crazy party. It was nice to just chill out on the patio with a beer and watch the view. There are a couple of quirks: 1) the shower pipe was a bit rusty, and water pressure was low (not surprising being at the top of a hill) and 2) it's true that there are a lot of stairs, and that the railings on the stairs don't seem particularly stable (the stairs themselves are fine). I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you feel comfortable with stairs. Tips om hotellegenskap: When you get off the ferry in Koh Phi Phi, look for someone holding a sign with the hotel's name. He will put your bags in a little cart and walk you to the hotel.
Natalie S. Par Sweden, 24. desember 2012	Basic amenities, clean and good location Friendly staff, good wi-fi connection 6,7 I'd rate this hotel as being 3.5 out of 5. Despite it being in a quiet area far away from the noise of the nightclubs and having a good staff, there were a few things that frustrated me about this place. First of all, there are a TON of mosquitos in this area because the hotel is built beside a swamp. Be prepared to bring mosquito repelant with you wherever you go when you are around this hotel. Second, the electrical outlet did not work with any of our electronics despite having an international adaptor. At first we thought it was because of our plugs, but testing our electronics with several outlets in the room yielded the same result. The safe also did not work properly and we were not able to program a code that we wanted. The safe was also very small, so for those that bring iPads with them on vacation, don't bother putting it in a safe. Breakfast was also mediocre (two pieces of toast, chicken "ham", and one egg). Lastly the TV was a nightmare to use. The remote control didn't match the TV (it was an international remote control) and the TV buttons didn't respond either. Channels would switch randomly and the volume button would reset. Having said the above, there were some good things about this place. It is in a good location - close enough to the action, but far enough to not hear the sounds from the nightclub. The Wi-Fi was also one of the best I have experienced on the island from a resort. You can get easily 3 bars of connection with your phone or iPad. The room was also clean (but basic) and the bathroom was also okay with hot water. Great friendly staff that invited us to a Christmas BBQ free of charge. Very friendly people there!

Its walking distance to everything. We will definitely come back there. Restauranttips: Garlic restaurant near by , by far is the best price and best taste on the island. And Ciao Bella italian restaurant is also the best.

No one at reception, hundreds of broken wooden steps to get to your room, no lights at night, leaking aircon that barely made a difference, staff that just walk in, shitty area, dodgey pool. That's just to name a few things.
