I was feeling sick but it was ok. Coffee from a sachet in the mornings disappointing. No fresh coffee brewed there. There is an avery in the restaurant that smells really bad where people must eat.

Quaint Comfy Hotel

This is a quaint comfortable hotel with nice staff making you comfortable and feel at home once you checked in. The decor is locally themed and beautiful. Spacious rooms. Fast wifi. The only drawback is that it is situated behind a gas station...and I was not able to explore more nooks and crannies of the hotel.

The hotel looks pleasant from the outside. The food available is not of a good quality. I ordered the spicy chicken which was burnt and very dry. The restaurant was empty which having eaten there I can understand. The swimming pool looked clean but we didnot have time to use it. The room was clean but had no in room safe. The staff were not very friendly and we felt as if it was a big effort to serve us. The Wi-fi did not work for most of the time and when it did it was very slow.

Needs Some TLC

I booked 2 rooms 4 months ahead of our trip. The hotel staff was very nice and carried our bags to our rooms. Our room had a musty smell and the balcony view was of the neighboring wing's roof, it was also on a different floor and different wing from our friend's room. I asked if there were any rooms closer to our friends and sure enough there was one a room away from them, so why give us separate rooms to begin with? The hotel's pool was under renovation and the climbing wall was in a state of disrepair. The hotel also offers transportation into the city for 25p/person. The food at the Eagle's Nest was very good and not overly expensive, about on par with the other restaurants we've been to. Overall I would say it was good value for money but I was expecting more from other reviews.
