Away from noise, close to beach and town and beautiful surroundings. 7,3 An average good hotel located outside Alona Beach town which is nice if aren't interested in staying close to noisy restaurants and bars. Though still located right in front of the beach. Kind staff, who are really helpful if you want to go on any tours. The food is good, but if you want better food, you should go to Alona Beach. All in all a good and pleasant stay.

Its has its own little beach which gets cut off from the main beach area during high tide (learnt that the hard way) but there is a path the leads on to the main beach which we only discovered a little too late. The hotel staff should really have mentioned this to us! The room and hotel where good for the price - decent pool - though salt water in the showers and taps! Though it is in a good location just a little walk to the food and bars. We also hired a scooter from the main strip and i received a helmet that was not safe but the owners lent me there helmet which was very nice of them. Overall a nice place to stay for a few days and explore the surrounding areas! Thanks

Par Sweden, 2. januar 2013	Nice and calm but close to busy Alona beach Nice pool and garden area, good food and helpful staff. 8 we stayed for four nights over new year. very calm and peaceful resort, but you are also close to alona beach with all the bars and restaurants (5 min walk, bring a torch if it's not a full moon). rooms were clean and functional but with very hard mattress in the bed. did not try the dive school atlantis, but i imagine it beeing quite small and personal compared to some other places.
Lacasta C. Småbarnsfamilie Canada, 29. desember 2012	Lovely hotel with a nice family feel Great Pool 10 We enjoyed this hotel. With the individual huts, it made it feel like a little village. The beach was not that impressive right infront of the hotel, but with a small walk around the rocks in the water, you could get to the nice beaches. The kids loved the pool and we really enjoyed the quite relaxed feeling it had there. The staff were really nice and accomodating. The lady at the front called massage ladies to come and give us massages in our room which was an added bonus. Tips om sightseeing/attraksjoner: There is so many things to do near by. We hired a driver to take us around the island. We saw the world's largest Python in captivity, went on a river dinner cruise, saw the tarsier monkies and visted the chocolated hills.

Par Luxembourg, 29. desember 2012	Alona beach but no easy access to fun part of it clean rooms 5,7 Booked the Hotel quite last minute during the Xmas period so the room prices were quite exorbitant in relation on what was on offer, though the rooms were tidy. The shower water stank of sewage though and the basin water was actually salty. Following the recommendations in previous reviews we wanted to order the seafood platter but when arriving at the "restaurant area" it was deserted and the waiter told us there they did not have fish or squid or praws... only chicken and beef...(not really a seafood platter then...). Tried the diving with the Atlantis divers which was one of the factors for my booking but was very disappointed! Signed up for 2 dives but ended up doing 1 since it was that bad!! The scene in the morning was pure chaos and equipment fitting was a mess. The equipment was not only old but turned out to be faulty > my weightbelt did not close properly so it just dropped off when I entered (and once hauled back it would not attach either), the BCD was old and was only held together by velcro straps and was not adjustable and some clips were missing so the tubes had to be semi tied to the BCD... really not optimal! the diver master himself was really unprofessional. I had a problem with my regulator going into the water and instead of helping me he was complaining to the other divers about what I should have done. He also did not bother assisting me with the lost weight belt! Did not display any enthusiasm about diving itself, more like a chore to him looking after people but was also dissing other dive resorts in Boracay (where frankly I have had some very professional dive centers with some of my best dives!). After the messy morning dive the water got quite choppy and since they forgot! 2 to take along 2 additional tanks 2 people had to volunteer not to dive... at the end no one went for a second dive - it is not my place to comment on other peoples opinion here. On a better note, the general staff was very friendly Tips om sightseeing/attraksjoner: take a motorbike and visit the chocolate hills and the Tarsiers... sipping around Bohol on a motorbike is the best way how to discover the island. The roads are in great condition and it is not dangerous. Do be back before the sunset!

Familie med store barn Philippines, 24. juli 2012	Lovely budget pension house Accessibility to Alona beach restaurants, PADI certified diving school, swimming pool, reasonable room rate, clean. 7,7 Very quiet place. Situated on rocky shoreline but with good access foot path leading to the Alona Beach with all the restaurants and other lodging places, boat for hire. The Alona Beach is just 5 minutes walk. Restauranttips: Food (Bacon and pancake, Corn Beef Breakfast are either bland or salty, Pancake with bacon is served as an omelet minus the egg i.e. shredded bacon mixed with pan cake and then fried like an omelet, a bit salty. We were the usual way pancakes are served with bacon strips. Corned beef is the cheap kind that taste dull and wet, served with some onions.

Par Philippines, 13. juli 2012	Good Basic Bungalo Type room Very Private setting 6 this hotel is basic, as it has a bed and bathroom w/ hot water shower, it has an a/c unit and fan. the room did not have a tv, and the internet was not working. the prices for food were about the same for the whole beach area. the pool area was clean and very inviting. Restauranttips: All of the resturants in the area are good, everything is just a short walk during daylight, just exit the main gate at the hotel and go to the right, you will see a path/ dirt road about 20m down on your left follow this to the stairs down to the beach.
